Ahh was gonna say mine is nowhere near those temps!
I reckon if using in a case the temp would be 10 degrees higher but still under 80 which is sweet.

Mine too apparently (although i won't hold my breath)
They have never let me down before, had a 1080 and Dell gsync, waited a while but they sourced them from other countries, both of these came from Germany.

Looks like Intel might be pushing Z390 up to combat Ryzen. Pretty sure that could mean Z390 gets Cannon Lake early.

Given how the 8700k can keep up with the 1800x with 2 cores down, I think its AMD that need to worry here.

The i7 8700k is starting to pop up in stock at loads of outlets now and is being sold just over its RRP price so i expect in the new year it will be back at the correct retail price of 360.00! if can currently be picked up for 375.00 inc next day delivery if you know where too look.
Even at retail Coffe Lake still has a pretty big price offset and the paper launch has probably had zero impact. By the time Coffe Lake stock is available Ryzen will have had a major refresh and Intel will be faced with more problems.

What do people think or the Asrock z370m pro4? Was going to get the STRIX micro atx board, but it’s like £70 more expensive. I have a rift, so need plenty of USB ports.
Asrock this generation is miles better than any other brands including Asus in term of overclocking. Even a 4 dimm mid range board like the Asrock Z370 extreme 4 managed to oc 2 sticks of ram to 4400Mhz.
Wow, it is really bizarre that Intel rushed Z370 out the door if Z390 is so close. It might have made sense if there was a plentiful supply of CPUs.
Look on the bright side, every day you wait it out, Z390 gets even closer. May as well wait for the proper chipset at this point.I see the price gouging still going on at overclockers, no sale then simple as i shall wait it out, only a clown will buy that those prices.

Z390 I don't think it will be much better for gaming! multitasking for sure but not games.

I don't think you can go wrong with i7 8700k from the benchmarks coming out its a killer CPU
Yeah. I think the use of thumbs screws and accounting was behind pushing CoffeeMaker out too early along with the rehash of Z170.
Fingers crossed Z390 isn't another half cocked paper launch.
