its being tested so it can oc to 5ghz on air like the x299 cpus all do
lol
Somewhere at Intel is a gigantic tower entirely filled with Coffee Lake chips, in which some company directors are swimming. We'll get them after they've finished.

funny thing is I don't mind the sea, everytime me and the Mrs go on holiday I go diving most days.
it's more the thought of players like centre Parcs and huge pools of 90% **** 10% chlorine than put me off lol

I had amd and intel over the years and its only whats best at the time.
I dont like or dislike any apart from Intels at the moment. But I think its good to have the two fighting
so we the buyer have more out of it. Intel has done F all to increase speed over the past few years, so we get a
small bump in cpu power. The new x chips for example 7700k replaced with a new 100mhz faster one, with same IPC.
Thanks Intel I was gonna OC my 7700k the extra 100mhz my self but now I think I'm gonna buy this with a new x299 motherboard
with less features.
If they don't get it sorted by the time I upgrade I will be going for AMD next build.
