I agree with you there, plentyoffail isn't too good at the moment. Might try match.com and see how it goes. I'm also on okcupid.com which is free and its a much better website in terms of design and usability, but unfortunately it doesn't have as many people as plentyoffail.

Problem I've had with Internet dating is that I've always believed i'd just "bump" into someone or just naturally get together with someone. I really don't like the idea of telling people I met someone from teh intarwebz.

Suppose it doesn't help working in a heavily male dominated part of the industry (IT). There are a few nice ladies at work but I get quite uncomfortable when thinking about asking someone out there as there would be lots of gossip and possibly humiliation if she says no etc.

If you are someone who really does get nervous then i recommend rescue remedy. Really does help :)

But she does seem interested, when I asked about going out it was a "Aww I'd love to" response so seems good at least, hope it goes well to go out a second time.
