Internet Dating.....Who Has Done it?!

eh? now im confused! although doesn't help that i'm half asleep!

lol don't worry. I was hinting at your profile being quite pleasant, and not the usual "hi i'm candice, i've got 7 playboy bunny tatoos and and I like clubbing every day of the week" type profile you get in my area.

I didn't mean anything by it, and I wasn't suggesting Surrey is rubbish or anything:p

Gonna be bricking it on Sunday evening!

You'll be fine:cool:

I'm sorry but how is there a shortage of girls in the 18-30 age? Maybe there is on online dating sites but not on the street or in the real world - just go to any university campus and there's loads of single girls.

0-14 years: 16.7% (male 5,233,756/female 4,986,131)
15-64 years: 67.1% (male 20,774,192/female 20,246,519)

100,000s of men will be alone due to no fault of their own, in china it's millions. Also with all these 1000s of illegal aliens running via the chunnel being 99.9% male everyweek, we will be in millions in no time. The future is grim for males.

Future is grim for the human race. Great and smart men live alone dreaming of a half decent girl. The chavs and tarts (spy) have more partners than Casanova and bring children up in broken families. Only the stupid and faithless DNA being passed on now and society shows it.

If you're living in a small town, it probably seems like the end. I'm originally from Hobart - population 200k, Tasmania - population 500k, Australia. If you're not married or departed by 25, you're doing something wrong basically. So it can be very isolating. In a big town though, being single at my age or later is nothing, it's almost normal. So don't panic that 'this is it for me' etc. Because it's bloody not.

secretspy judging from your profile you sound like you would make a lovely wife for someone. If only i was 3 years older and looking for a wife i might send you a wink ;) as apparently i can do that for free.

I also don't understand the people in their early 20's thinking they're going to die alone. I'm 21 (and a quarter) and i've never had a girlfriend really. Few 2 week things in high school.

Obviously as i'm a student in newcastle finding women to just sleep with is easy so until i'm not a student i think i'll carry on with that life.

But when i get a job i'll look to settle down, although can't imagine me trying the internet for a while, will probably go the route of friends of friends, work, gym, pubs and bars. Meeting women is easy surely, even the supermarket is full of them, you just need a bit of confidence to start talking to them, and confidence comes easy if you just think, if it goes **** up, am i even going to see her again?so who cares.
Or if you will see them again just think of the most embarrassing moment of your life, and think how this pales in comparison. For example i think back to when i had to explain to a girl in the morning that i had just had a wet dream on her (long story, main point, shes a tease, her fault.lol). After that, you can do anything. Giving my presentation a couple of months later was a breeze, got a first. Thank you wet dream (Y) haha.

Heh, try 90k pop and nowhere else to go except overseas.. :(
Take away the % of men, elderly, young, gay and already taken, I'd imagine it's very , very low.

Just randomly decided to go into town earlier, since being on accutane it's the first time I felt confident when outside amongst a lot of people. I'm really pumped for Monday now. Should be great.

Just hope nothing does go wrong because there's no other people that are smart + attractive in my area. :p

Best of luck mate, just be yourself :)

So much for the healthy option of Sushi, it was a Japanese buffet restaurant and it served pretty much what you get at a normal takeaway :(

Eat all you can for £12 :D

Anyway, must have done something right as I got invited back to her house afterwards. :D

(There were no pasties smashed in the making of this post)

Ahahaha, there's honesty and there's things a man should just keep to himself. Good on her for having a laugh about it though.

You should "deal" with yourself before going to bed really.. Nothing worse than sticky sheets when your mother does the laundry.

Sorry mate, I honestly didn't want to be insulting and its very generic advice whilst trying to insight some postive feelings. I know you're not stupid from the way in which you post. No hard feelings?

Sure. I was having a bad day in case you hadn't have guessed! There was no malice intended, so don't worry. :p

I used to manage Natwest @ rbs in southend card centre. If you want I can have a word with a few mates who still work and head up their teams?

That would be really kind of you. I will pass for the immediate moment (see if McDaniel can come up trumps :p) but I may well harass you in the near future. Cheers!

Nix, why not take a gamble, find some ***** houseshare in London and move there? Tons of jobs, tons of totty, tons of fun - you can't lose :p

Oof, London? I think not old bean! I'm up for the randomness, but I can't really afford to take any gambles at the moment. To be honest, I just want to work, save, and eventually go travelling as I'm always at peace when I'm doing something like that - I get really worked up when I'm in a rut. Also want to put money aside for doing a Masters ideally within the next four or so years.

Sorry for my outbursts fellas - you know what it's like. Cheers for being patient! I'm a pain in the arse, I'm aware of that. :)

Incidently, to prove a point: a girl on this course I'm doing at the moment (pointless thing through the job centre) thinks I'm great (as she's told me on a few occassions - loves my banter apparently). I don't fancy her before you go there - not exactly my type! There's a pretty face there but of course, she has a boyfriend (typical) so that's a non-starter! :p

secretspy, as I've said before - you're a very pretty girl (as others will agree) so you've got nothing to worry about. In fact, you sound lovely as well. The only criticism I possibly have is that I don't think your profile picture perhaps does you enough justice (you look like you're timid and even slouching - easily sorted though!). Nice, urm... assets though. :D

a bit lol. my friends always seem to snap me when i'm pulling a funny face lol. theres very few that i like

I always hate photos that I know are being taken. Maybe you're the same? Let a friend or two go camera happy for a night - there should be at least one you like. :)
