Internet Dating.....Who Has Done it?!

Im starting to notice a trend of pof here on average im finding 9/10 women in the north east smoke and have kids..... also theres not that many good lucking women up here (on pof) they are either way out of my league, got kids or simply put just not that nice :( but when you go down south and look or in scotland there's loads of nice attractive women !!!

yep, north east is pretty dire :(
 
it's the same for us southerners...all the fit men seem to be up north...or in America (George Eads siggghhhhh) :D lol (hmm wonder where Robert Pattinson is from....)

chin up though, I'm sure you'll find someone soon :)
 
It's always the same people on, then when you do find someone remotely attractive, they don't bother messaging back.

I've given up.

gotta say, I've been as far as Hull and found nothing particularly pleasant up there, and being from the south I've seen some of the horrors on offer down here, I'm probably going to have to resign to the fact there's very few good looking gals around these days, most of the few decent ones are to be found around student towns probably, but even then, the people I know from up north tell me of the lack of male talent up there too lol
 
POF is getting worse for me. Loads of read deleted and I think they are decent emails. Also annoyingly some girls reply once and then don't bother to continue for no apparent reason.

The girl I am talking to now has been replying, responds to questions but doesn't ask any.

The whole thing is so frustrating.

How's it going for everyone else?
 
had 2 emails lately 1 from another lady with a child, actually very pleasant, but not exactly what Im wanting at this age..... and another from a lass which she seems nice etc just not what I want :( which is a shame ....
 
Been talking to one girl for a few months now. We get on unbelievably well - the sad thing is she cancelled on me twice over one weekend to meet, and then she got back with her ex (she still lived with him). We've decided recently to take a step back a bit because of this, but it really is a shame. I just hope we meet eventually, even if just as friends.

Always the way, eh!

She's now tried to hook me up with her friend who thinks "I'm fit". Trouble is, I'm not attracted to her in the slightest, but can't be horrible else the previous girl may think badly of me!

just let the one you do like know that you're not interested in her and don't want to lead her on? simple option lol, unless you're looking to get some as a last resort? :p

POF is useless I've found pretty much all the messages I've sent out haven't even been read, out of approximately 10 sent, 2 were unread deleted, one was read and deleted, the other 7 were just unread do people just not look at their messages? :confused: ahh well, not having a serious look anyway, just testing the water...so far it seems a little shallow for me :p

Probably a little belated now, but how did it go with the forum fellow (or how is it going if you're still dating)?
I was kind of getting my hopes up for another OcUK relationship!!

/If I get no replies to this, I guess you don't want to talk about it ;)
 
read from page 30 odd up till now and i think its time for me to give the online dating a bash, its been far to long since i've been in the game.

signed up to POF, will start sending some messages out once i got my profile sorted.
 
I've just deleted my POF account, complete waste of time IMO. I'm better off going out & meeting ladies in person.

Because I never would have met my amazing gf of 7 months, that's why.

I also would never have met my good friend and housemate either.
