Same here. Just remember to take a more relaxed approach for the first few days at least, so you can then get a feel for what type of person your speaking to.

Oh and make sure you keep the "block" button at arms reach! :D

lol yes will do and I thought I was being relaxed .. he started with the exchanging numbers meeting etc it was all to fast.

Yeah well its the only way to be

See if a girl started asking me for my number/wanting to meet up after only chatting for a few hours and sending a couple of messages, alarm bells would start ringing!

When the aboves happened and just fire back with they have to earn it, keeps them keen! :p

I disagree with this - I always try and meet asap if we both seem to get on well on MSN.

I've talked for ages with some people only to find that when we meet there's no click and they're sooo dull, so now I just find it a waste of time to prolong any kind of contact before meeting.

Ahh but MSN is a totally different ball game!
I was thinking more email type messaging via the dating sites, not once you've moved over to MSN, as in order to do that you would have already send a few messages to each other and weeded out the nutjobs! :p

Have to be sure about the person though ... i.e if they start being a weirdo your not still going to meet them.

Good looking women intimidate me, so i end up chufting ugly women... and ofcourse im not happy with that so i break up with them! ghey!

Had two dates with two women back to back, thursday and friday.

thursday was a nightmare, it was boring, awkward and horrible.

Friday was brilliant, she looks like Alison hannigan, pretty sexy and was great fun, so im going to see her again.

Two nights just goes to show the good and the bad of internet dating.

I had some woman give me her number after just two messages on POF the other day and then she said she had told her mum about me!

I usually give the girl my MSN address as soon as she replies to my first message to be honest. Hate going back and forth with messages each filled with 10 different questions and answers, just all gets messy, and would rather just ask questions direct.

I find it hard to believe that so many people need to find women via the internet instead of face to face. Can't you just go out to the pub or a club and strike up a conversation with someone, or chat someone up in a shop? It's really easy.
Sorry but I'd feel like a bit of a loser if I had to resort to dating through social networks. But that's just me.

Since when was meeting people whilst hammered ideal? To be honest I think people who trawl pubs and clubs picking up drunk slags are losers IMO. I've met 3 people in pubs/clubs and it never works out.

pretty much this, I know there are people who've met their long term partners in bars/clubs etc, but personally, if I met someone while we were both plastered off our faces, that kinda sets the precident for the rest of the relationship, and when all those years of clubbing together have gone, what's left?

obviously in an ideal world everyone would go talk to anyone and it would be a fairytale, but in this day and age, many people are too busy or the opportunity doesn't arise often enough to meet new women on command. so it's a fair bit more convenient, you know the people there are there for roughly the same reason, so it saves a lot of time and effort usually

Not everyone in a pub is a drunk ****. I'd rather see and choose who I decide to walk up to and chat up then get some phony picture on mytwitfacebookspace from some girl who is probably a man or some obese monstrosity.

It's easy to work out who's genuine and who's not, if they are a fatty, then make a quick exit ;)
