Internet Dating.....Who Has Done it?!

I keep getting fatties message me on plenty of fail :(

I get all excited when I get a new message, click on their profile and it's just a case of "ffs not another one". Maybe it's because i'm ugly, maybe it's because all the attractive women are too busy being messaged by the sort of douche's that have a six pack as their profile pic, I dunno.
 
Met someone a couple of weeks ago by chance. I was removing my profile at the same time she was creating hers. She emailed me just as I was about to hit delete.

Had 3 dates so far and everything is going great. Via text and phone she seems a lot more interested than in person but I think that's because she's worried how quickly we've become 'attached' to each other. Saying that last night we had a take away and watched a film, during which she was snuggled up to me on the sofa.

Early days but I'm really hoping this goes somewhere :)

Speaking to a few girls, and surprisingly had a few girls message me out of the blue.

Still all a bit weird to me at the moment though, much prefer just meeting girls when out with friends. Met this delightful chapess on Saturday night when out with friends in Leeds. She was a friend of a friend but doubt i'll see her again though for ages lol!
 
Meeting the girl I've been speaking to for a month on Saturday. I think it'll either go very well or very badly, with nothing inbetween, so we'll either be dating a few days later or never speak again :p.
 
Met a girl the other night. She was nice and she came back to mine for a bit.
She's keen to go out again. Not sure how interested I am though, I met a girl in town the other day too and been dating her at the same time. Decided I'm not really that fussed on her either.
Might just set up a load of dates and see if I end up excited about seeing someone again. Seems pretty easy to get a date on plenty of fail.
I find you have to get facebook comms going with them first though...a lot of girls have sexy pof pics but then on facebook look rough as ****. :p
 
Yup, loads of them do it.
Looks may not be everything, but they're a start. And I can't be arsed listening to some one jabber on all night that looks like Bruce Foresyth.

Ditto. However.... I've just been messaged on match :eek: Bearing in mind I don't have a subscription my suspicious meter is currently off the scale. I think they have put their prices up again. I'll mull it over but it's a heck of a lot to spend unless I can find some offer somewhere.

I may rewrite my POF profile and lob a few messages about as I have time. At least then I've tried.

My problem isn't chatting up, far far from it :D Having a knackered knee means they run off double quick when I walk about. Meh *shrugs*

Don't worry she is only interested in "Talk/Email" and then goes on to list about every other possible "Must not be looking for" comment there is.

Don't know how she would get her dozen red roses and dozen boxes of chocolate.

Follow up to this is epic fail.

I asked her if she fancied doing something again to which she enthusiastically agreed but not until next week as she's busy this week.

Meanwhile, I am thinking up some awesome dates, popped on her Facebook the other night and she has updated her status to in a relationship. :(

Just friends it is then. :(

I don't know if I should say anything, I'd like to keep in touch with her in case anything can happen later but I don't really wanna venture in to the full on friends zone.

Dating sucks! :D

sorry it didn't turn out the way you hoped. Life's a bit annoying like that.

Right now I'm feeling very confused about a few things :(

I think I like someone as more than a friend but i'm not sure, he has said he's not sure either..meh :(

that's pretty lame, if I were dating several people at any given time, seriously or just seeing options/hanging out, I'd certainly make sure each party knows their place to avoid this sort of thing

still at least you can laugh about it ;)

Classic case of Plenty of Fail.

First person I've ever ever read/ deleted too...
Normally i just leave them as I can't be bothered deleting messages, but she is special, she's taken my virginity.
