Ah I see lol.

I..am..exhausted lol. Since registering I've been non stop replying. I haven't had chance to search because I've been exchanging emails with a few people. Oooh and a couple have been one liners so ha men are just as bad on that front

Need my sleep now!!! Thought of doing one last email before I logged off but it was such a long message with really random questions that I couldn't be bothered to do it tonight lol.

Within 5 min of signing up with a mundane profile like that, you will get at least a message, and 10 in the first hour.

Do that with a guy, nada, zilch, nothing.

I don't think I did get 34 messages as its seems pof constantly emails saying how many messages are in my pof inbox.
I had a dream about it last night. A guy called Ian emailed saying "I want to have kids" then a little later sent another saying "with you"

Weird! Definitely need more sleep tonight lol.

Nothing wrong with the site, doesn't charge you to use it for it's main function unlike other sites. It's design is a bit lacking, but so are other paid for sites.

Having your emails read deleted isn't that bad, it's worse when it just sits in their inbox after being read but they never contact you.

It really isn't that bad mate. Sure you have to beef up your tolerance to time wasters etc but there are some great people there. I've been on several dates and for the most part they've been really nice people, just not what I'm looking for or vice versa.

I originally went on Match.com when I split with my long term ex after around 6 weeks. It was way too soon for me so I gave it a couple of Months before going back. My head was much clearer and I was ready to start the process again. Maybe it's too soon for you?

Not really. My girlfriend who I met online got something like 50 messages the first day of her registering. She showed me the stuff she got. 95% can be weeded out right away as it's usually from losers, weirdos and uglies. You're only really competing with a few others.

5 messages sent here, 5 replies back, four dates. And I aint no Brad

Pick the women that put an effort into their profile, they'll usually put an effort back into replying.

Agreed - I think you can tell those who appear to be genuine in their efforts.
Really pretty girls will have lots of responses, but most people are "normal"

I would get lots of "Hi hun, how's you?" dross from girls who are probably doing the same thing to other people now. Most of those could be discounted, although I used to offer up some sort of reply.
