i've had those feeling too begbie, and im aware in chat i can sometimes find myself turning into a bit of a chameleon in order to secure a date, not in a player type fashion, i dont stoop to lying, but when you have time to make a reply sometimes it changes from what my immediate answer would have been, and i do find myself guaging my replies to the type of person they seem to be, god that sounds clinical, but i guess i can get on with a range of different people..

I do wonder whether sometimes whether its the thrill of the chase, or im turning into a wannabee male **** in my old age

In all seriousness though i'd love to get myself a keeper, just seems to be awfully hit and miss at times

Then somehow got onto books and a friend she was meeting later on that day up near the Literary festival..
Ended up listening to a talk about the Lost city of Atlantis in the festival with Philosopher Angie Hobbs.
Then left with a quick hug so she could go to meet her mate.

Nah, i don't like girls who play it too hard either.

I just mean being TOO keen is dropping their 'value' to you, which is a turn off. And for a fatty, it's 100 times worse!

I think I'm going to have to tell that woman that there's never going to be anything other than friendship between us. I just can't get excited by the larger figure, if anything it makes me feel ill thinking about it!

That's the thing with online dating, you just don't know what your gut instinct is until you actually meet.

By this time I'd start rationalising why I should should give them a go anyway, even if my gut says no.

After all, I've put this effort in, they're there on a plate, I know she likes me blah blah blah...

IMO online dating is ok for short flings but I didn't meet anyone I wanted to start something serious with. Maybe I should have given it a bit longer.

When you say her size how big was she exactly? like dress wise 16/18 bigger ... I struggle to keep up with what men think is " big " these days I think I am what most men would consider as large but I think perhaps I'm just hard on myself cos my boyfriend doesn't like big women but he refers to big as like huge obese type.
