Internet Dating.....Who Has Done it?!

I usually send about a paragraph of a message and get read deleted, but i took the advice as above and just sent a two liner or just about that anyway, got a reply.

Probably still end up with read deleted by the second message anyway, ooh humm
 
How do you know they have read and deleted a message? What site?

I just got a message from a girl on OKcupid (signed up last night), good match apparently (how useful actually is that) but I have no idea she said, I assume it was meant to be a bit witty but could very well have been a spam email...?

I assume that means like real life we have to do the chasing... :p

And I had such high hopes when I saw the message, until I opened it and tried to read it.

EDIT: Nope... Something about vowels and consonants, scouts and galleries... :confused: :(

Well 1st date went really well tonight, text straight after and we arranged date #2 for wednesday.

This multiple dating game is stressful im going to start forgetting womens names soon lol :P
 
2 dates tonight went pretty well!

First one went over time a bit, so I had to sneakily text the second and say that I was running a bit late. The girl was quite pretty, as well as really interesting and chatty. We're hopefully going to meet up for a second.

I then took the train to the second date (10 mins away :D) and we chatted in a pub for a few hours. She was quite sweet too, although maybe a little nervous. She's also up for a second. Score!

Strange, I've never had a scraper bot message me on any dating website. Hopefully it's not a sign of things to come.

When did you ask the girls for a second date?, did you wait a few days then ask or on the same day as some girls can be fussy if they pick up even a hint of asking too soon

Any normal sane woman will be fine with you texting to say what a great time you had on the same night, then arranging a second date the next day. if said sane woman thinks you're a catch, then the second date will be agreed on when you kiss goodbye. ;)

In both cases I brought it up throughout the evening once or twice e.g. "We should do .... sometime" and then mentioned it again when we parted ways with "Look forward to seeing you again soon" or something. I think I also mentioned it in a text as well.

Speaking of which, does anyone have any good ideas for second dates? When the first date is coffee, I tend to go for dinner + drinks for the second...but when then first is drinks, I'm not sure what next.
 
Personally I like to actually do something. If you know you like each other there is no harm in planning to spend a day with them.

Go to London, Galleries, museums or something else that you can chat about as you do it or after over some dinner.
 
I find the hardest part of POF is actually getting a girl to reply, i've been creative, funny, simple and varied my messages to each girl accordingly and even some of the less disireable girls ive messaged to test ( cruel i know) don't reply.

Currently dating two blondes, 28 and 33 - both pretty, funny, intelligent, interesting and obviously out of my league - the 28 year old ive been on 7 dates with and will be taking her out on valentines night, the other im seeing again on wednesday and really like her too.

Never thought I'd be in a position where I had two who were both keen and really nice!

This is a good idea. From my experience, it can otherwise just end up in regurgitating stories you have, which is fine, but I think you will probably get a better idea of what someone is like if you have a focal point of conversation.
 
Ive had 1 date/meet with a girl from online yesterday, we spent about an hour or so just talking and that, little kiss on the cheek to say hello, anyway we txt each other yesterday after getting back, and i said it would be great to see her again, she said it sounds good, so now, when do i txt her again without being try hard etc?
