So I created an account on OKcupid last night, just out of curiosity really.
I've just logged on and it says 2 girls have added me to their favourites, I now have an option to message them.
My last two relationships put together spanned over 17 years so I was 18 the last time I was single, I've been out of the game a long time.
I'm patheticly shy and now don't know how to approach the situation, and what to write in a message, I'm really not good on the woman thing.

Sent this girl a message and she sent me one back telling me about her trip in Thailand and other countries then went to ask me where i've been and thanks for the message. So I messaged her back and asked her how long she spent in Thailand and what the exotic spicers were like as I was interested, also mentioned my world wide trips as she did.
That's it no more replies even though she's read it, three days later guess i'll pick someone else. Probably the usual excuse " oh my laptop isn't working ". It's not as if i'm picking out one girl and pinning my hopes on this one girl, I send a lot out but this is typical of what happens.

I did join match.com a few years back, its lame because they dont tell you who are paying members so if you message someone, they might like you but they wont be able to reply, you wont know if its because the are a free member, or they think your a dork
