Internet Dating.....Who Has Done it?!

i was talking to someone a while back, they only had 1 pic in their profile, but there were 3 ladies in it. as luck would have it, after a few weeks of chatting (i thought it was rude to ask straight out) turns out she was the munter of the group lol how do you politly say 'oh, your not the fit one on the left then

Looks like it, a few years it was size 12 before then size 10. Seems to go up every 4 years in the UK. Next the average will be 16 come 2014 :eek:

Oh for the love of god, curse of the outdated pictures strikes again!

Jeeez, been talking to one girl and had a few varied photos on her profile, full body shots and all looked quite nice, but that must have been 5 years ago!!

When I saw her she was enormous, and her face looked look it was drooping from the fat!

She was in a relationship 3 years ago, and im assuming she just gorged out cakes in despression!!!

Wont be seeing her again, but then again that might be difficult by her size! LOOL (boom boom)

this is my worse fear, mainly coz im too nice to say 'oh, sorry i think your a bit of a whale/dog, would you mind if we didnt see eachother again'. i would just smile and reply to their messages coz i felt bad for them.

If she's nice (as a person), you could always date her and get her down the gym and back to her old self. Requires patience, though!

Am I the only person who always adds girls from these sites on Facebook before asking to meet up?

They are much more likely to have "real" pics on there. It's saved me a few wasted dates.

I check them all on facebook before, I've been caught out twice.

Sorry didn't mean it to sound like that! I've been on 9 dates but I've added quite a few from pof to facebook so I know I know I'm not wasting my time.

I met someone this weekend and my heart literally sunk when she turned up. I just don't get how someone can look so different to their fb profile. She was a nice enough person and will keep in touch.

I'm done with online dating, back to meeting people on a night out or people connected to my social group. At least you get that first physical attraction/spark and then enjoy getting to know them.

) person that has replied to my message lol we have been talking now for about 3 weeks, and she is really nice, but having seen some other pics of her now, i dont think i would say i was attracted to her. so it kinda means finding a polite way of saying 'well now i have seen some pics of you other than your profile one, i dont think we can be anymore than friends, coz your a munter

but then, i dont get any replies, so maybe accept whats on offer.

My advise from previous experience is if you don't fancy the said person the don't go down that road. It always end up with heartbreak.

I got too drunk this weekend and still had the person I met come back to my flat. Feeling massive amounts of guilt today : /

ah, now that is something i remember from about 10 years ago

dont think this one is like that, but she is kinda cool, just, well, not too high in the looks department. her mates on the other hand

Its up and down for me, get a few msgs then nothing for a while. I haven't sent any messages this time and not put loads of exaggerated babble on my profile either. Just been to the point and honest.
