Actually, we have one very hot girl who works in the office. Actually does 2nd line IT support, same job as me. I've managed to say "hi" a couple times, and that's it

Haha. See the idea of just meeting and pulling a chick is not my kind of chick if that makes sense. Also if I went out with you guys the women would want to know why you brought your son along.we could do a single Cornish guys/gals meet and go out for a few laughs, at worst could make some new friends, at best one of us could pull
2 girls my age JUST walked into my hotel reception wanting to use the bathroom. I had to turn them away and now they are heading back to the lizard. Trying to think of a way I could have got a date out of that. God damn.

well, build up your confidence with her. she obvs has an interest in IT so that's a start. instead of just saying 'hi' add in a comment like 'hows your day going?' or some comment about something work related (i don't know what your job entails to give any examples
). once you can have a conversation with her, you are ready to move on to new ladies. and smile, don't forget to smile.

lol yeh, i totally get that. i don't club and never have. those people are just weird
but, there are plenty of fun activities that can be done where women also attend. like paintballing, go karting..........and how old do you think we all are

Those activities right now are full of emits and stag do's. No women to be found there. See I'm thinking right now and I really think a big part has to do with location and that we are in a really crappy place. We need nice bars, not clubs and not pubs full of 50 year old cornish women.

i totally forgot it was the start of the summer so all the holiday makers will be out. but emmet is such a strong word

haha yeh unfortunately cheap is not a word i would use to describe Cornwall at the moment (well other than most of the lasses, they would be described as cheap
)went to perranporth the other week with my family and it was full of nice looking women, so they must be around somewhere.

I'm a bit late to the thread but I don't think you're ugly at all (no homo). You have a decent set of hair, height is not too bad, strong jawline and clearly not overweight. If you have a job you're already 80% ahead of all competition.
But my man, confidence. You've GOT to get over yourself and your hangups. The world and life is going to be so much easier for you if you do that.
While your profile sound honest, I can't help but get a feeling that this guy is way too apologetic and confused. But I can also tell that you're a decent guy. Rewrite that profile and talk about YOU, but in a positive, witty and cheeky way.

Dude, I'm touching 6'3 and a girl from Match was taking the mick out of me and calling me 'shorty'. We did meet but she had to wear flat shoes to 'give me a fighting chance', all her words by the way. She was 6'1. When she wore her favorite big heels she was just a nick over 6'6. Still see her but just as a friend and occasional NSA buddy when the need is there. I'm saved under 'Short Ass' on her phone.

You've got to go hunting yourself. Spend an afternoon to email about 10 women and pray that not all 10 email back.
. It's a numbers game so keep trying. Eggs in one basket is a bad idea, but too many dates it's just as much of a bad idea. Cost a freaking fortune and you'll start to forget to whom you said what. About 3 potentials at a time is all I can/want to handle.

the biggest thing is, I have been on pof off and on, and never got anywhere, so don't want to shell out £30+ for the same results.
