Heh, he'll be back in a week or two.

Well I started off with a ridiculous profile, rightly ridiculed and told to redo by Misschief and others on here, which I've now rebuilt and chipped away into something I'm quite confident with. It shows me as quite serious, but also how I really am with the style of writing along with my hobbies.

Only issue now is my photos. I've been looking through my iphoto collection and SD cards and literally nearly all photos of me are when I'm not looking, or if I am I do a stupid face, since I hate having my pic taken and always avoid it. I've arranged a day out with my sister and niece to the park sometime next week to get some snaps where I can smile into the camera for 1-2 pictures that make me look half decent so I can slap on there.

Already been getting some attention as soon as I hit the update button and got some convo's going at the mo and 7+ 'meet mes' messages I've not reponded to since rebuilding last night, so yeah a little effort with your profile, taking criticism on the chin and using it helps a lot!

It smacks of, I'll be myself regardless and what will be, will be.

I can assure you I won't be :p I'll stick to the good ol' fashioned way. it's far less fickle. I don't do jumping through hoops to get attention :D

Before venturing into this online dating world, I thought that's how most people thought, but it was certainly an eye opener, but not for the better!

I might sound like a total arse reading back what I put, but I'm honestly not :p

What can I say, patience is not one of my virtues. Just over a week was plenty enough experience for me to terminate my POF account.

Nail on head. I've tried and realised it is not the way I want to find my soul mate, if indeed I have one.
