Internet Dating.....Who Has Done it?!

Women don't want to be treated like a princess, this does not work, this is almost the polar opposite of what does work. Women are attracted to men. Confident, self assured, laid back, strong, unintimidated, interesting, don't take any crap, willing to walk away, non-chalant, these are the kinds of things that are attractive to women. If a woman ever describes you as "a nice guy", you're doing it *very* wrong.

Please listen to this man. Word for word. Go study it.

have to agree, if you try to be nice then you come across as needy and desperate. women like to feel their man can support them and look after them, but without being told ;) this doesn't mean you have to be rude, just confident in how you carry yourself and not just whacking in loads of compliments or planning out your next 5 years with them.
women like guys that can make them laugh too, so add humour.

I've taken a step away from online dating, for 2 months or so now.

Instead, I'm doing the old fashioned thing; I have a date with a friend of a friend coming up and I am getting to know a few friends as well, to see where that takes me.

I do seriously feel unattractive when I've messaged girls and not had anything back on the online dating web sites, even when I have aimed lower.

Perhaps my profile was crap and perhaps my messages were boring and perhaps my pictures weren't good enough, who knows.

I'll see how the real life stuff goes though but the trouble is, I think I have more personality than I have looks.

Online dating is skewed in the favour of women, more so than real life. Even average looking girls online will get dozens of messages a day so they can afford to be very picky, that's why you really have to stand out. You need to have a very good profile picture, a unique profile as well as sending out funny/interesting/unique messages. If you're not doing all that you may as well not even bother. Even if you have all that then it's still a numbers game, that is send out a lot of messages and expect a couple of replies.

A statistic I heard was that in real life 20% of men get 80% of women, so online expect that to be even worse. It's probably more like the top 10% of men can get multiple dates a week and the rest will struggle to get a reply back. So you really have to be the best you can be to stand a chance.

Innorite! This has happened to me, I had to convince myself that they obviously deemed me too attractive to approach with a reply.

I honestly expected women to throw themselves at me when I signed up, I have no idea where it all went wrong. Maybe my profile is too essay-like......! :D

now now play nice guys :p

so any tips for my date tonight? we have been talking online and text every day now for 2 weeks, so I feel we have covered most of the stuff you would normally talk about when meeting someone.

also, we are going for drinks. what do you wear, like jeans, trainers and a shirt?

Her. ;)

Depends on the girl and what they prefer to be honest mate. I've got a style depending on the date or the girl.

Boots with jeans tucked in with a shirt

Sneakers with jeans, tshirt and phaggot jewellery

Shoes, jeans and shirt / polo shirt (maybe even a waist coat if pulling out the stocks, nomsayin')

What are you doing and what does she like?

Wear whatever you feel comfortable in, there's nothing more embarrassing than seeing a bloke dressed up in gear that he looks awkward in.

Don't forget to give her a black eye too, girls like a bit of rough apparently. Don't be too nice either, it's a sign of weakness.

I think what Janesy is trying to say, is turn up eating a steak to assert your manliness, but don't offer her any to show your dominance. Bishes love men eating steak.
