That last one of mine proper put me off, At the mo I got one of my Younger Sisters mates chatting on me on FB chat but I just cannot bring myself to bother as the last one off the Interwebs was such a disaster. Being trapped in a room/house/building/club/pub/hole in the ground with a Doris coming on to you that you don't fancy is nothing short of Horrendous. :( + :p

still not found a decent Doris then :p must admit there are a lot more nut jobs than normal people on the web. but then there are a few nice ones. plus if the latest Doris is a friend of your sister, then she must have already vetted her for you.

Alright, I've gone and tried OkCupid and have to say it definitely is better than POF. So for the guy who deleted his account I'd suggest trying out OkCupid.

okcupid is very area dependant. POF has a larger audience. I found okcupid a bit too long winded with all the questions and stuff. but it did seem to have a better class of women.

Yeah that's how I'm finding it. At least in OkCupid I'm getting a reply here n there even though I just started yesterday. With POF I didn't achieve anything.

That is what I am on about, if I did that it wouldn't be me, that's all I'm trying to get across.

I joined POF out of curiosity. It has made me realise that it wasn't the way I want to meet a woman, so I deleted the account. I am in no rush to meet somebody, I've been happily single for 10 years, and am happy to continue that way, if I meet a lady living the lifestyle I have now then great, if I don't I shant loose any sleep over it.

Sometimes you have to go out of your comfort zone to get what you want. I had to change my lifestyle to achieve what I have now but I'm happier for doing it. I still consider myself to be me, just the best version of myself that I can be. Each to their own though.

Maybe it's because I've now realised I'm not actually ready to look that hard to find somebody. I've gotten my life pretty much how I want it over the past 10 years and I have other priorities in my life that I want to get on with for now, finding a relationship is not one of them. Going on POF merely cemented that fact.

So I wish all those looking the best of luck and I hope they find what they are looking for :)

ok, is this low standards? :p
