Is it wrong to try and hook my friend up with a guy I met from POF? I've already told the guy that I want nothing more than friends, but how do you think he will react if I try and introduce him to my friend?

Depends on how fit said friend is,
Did he contact you and does he know where he stands with you? Why does your friend not make her own profile and contact him (presuming he still has an account)?

The guy knows where he stands. We've met up like 4 times so he clearly knows he's not getting anywhere with me. My friend will never sign up to a dating site as she doesn't like to meet complete strangers. Ive showed her his pics and she's up for meeting him but I just don't know how to ask this guy

Its not going to be easy, unless your very careful its going to come across as "Im too good for you but here is my less atractive friend who is more in your league" at which point he will resent you and think your friend isn't good enough for him. Can you get her to message him on facebook or make contact hereself in some way?

Just be frank with him. Just say "I know I've just met you, and this is a little bit crazy, but this is my friend - date her maybe?"

Oh come on be realistic... the guy is hardly going to want to date your uglier friend "with a nice personality" is he? He wanted you, and anyone you introduce to him will be judged by that.. and that's not good for him or your friend. Es ist nich Raketentechnik.
Forget him, and introduce your friend to someone else with more realistic expectations who didn't try to hit on you.

It's been on the cards for a while, so mentally I already kind of have. Anyway, i'm not looking for anything "relationshippy" for a while, just dates and good times.

think I am going to give up on this whole internet dating thing. met 5 people now, and well, lets say (apart from the first one) none have looked as nice as their pics I think the pics were taken a couple of years ago, and since then they have been to every 'all you can eat' weekend since

but what is personality without attraction? I dunno, maybe im just shallow, but if you post a picture looking all slim and turn up looking like a whale, says something about your mental stability and honesty.
