i guess, but at the moment i seem to get on a lot better with 17-19 year olds than i do with 20-21 year olds!? i just find them boring and too serious? funny how people are rushing to get old.. :rolleyes:

Depends on the girl to be honest, A few months back I got tricked into the sack. I KNOW RIGHT! TRICKED!

She told me she was 19, I was happy with this. Me being 30...:o

Long story short, she added me on facebook and her age showed her as being 17.

Honestly, She was gorgeous. But when I found out she was 17 I got somewhat freaked out. Not sure why as its not that far off 19, but still. We're friends, and yes I have been there again since :D But it's never going to change into anything serious. She's just another friend I sometimes bump into in the pub and then end up sharing a taxi home with....:p

i don't get it, why do girls lie about their age? :) i know she is 17 but that "4.5 year gap" for her is a really big deal for some reason :) i know it can go out the window but it will take a bit of effort.. :D
 
Not related to online dating, but pulled a nice French girl last night. I seem to have better luck in real life then I do with dating sites. :D

She lied so she wouldn't be seen as too young by an older guy... plenty of girls do it.
 
I haven't logged onto my dating profile for like 3 months, and I had a hilarious message from a girl (who was from Taiwan or Korea or something) who originally messaged me and had about a 2-message long smalltalk convo ("Hi, how are you, where are you from, what do you do", etc)...

She had sent me like 2 distressed and angry emails saying I had broken her heart and she "hated me" :confused: . She sounded really upset. Talk about easily attached!
 
Ha no, the dating stuff on FaceBook is a waste of time !

Still me and my then casual lady friend decided this Thursday evenig just gone, we feel the same for one another and we've decided lets do things properly, bowled over is an understatement, been grinning like a fool ever since.
 
I'm back with the Swedish chick. The one from last week :p

After me ignoring numerous messages and calls, she came round my flat unannounced. One of the first things she said was 'This is about me ignoring you right?'. I just gave a slow golf clap and looked at her.

She spent the whole evening making amends and I couldn't stay indifferent to the blonde hair, blue eyed pretty mooch.

I've had a lot of dates lately....more in the last 2 months than I've ever had in my life, my way of dealing with coming out of a 4 year relationship with a total babe...About 40% of them have came from this website however, of all the girls I've seen from the site, either they just don't suit, aren't to my tastes or turn out to be nutters! Yes, nutters! Pictures are very misleading, aswell!

The girls I do find genuinely interesting, attractive, natural etc, all ignore me completely! :(

Any tips? Do I look like a prat? :p
 
Well after telling myself "never again!" I signed up 2 weeks ago and have a date, also got a message from one of my friends gf's mates and got a little bit awkward!

so now naturally most of my friends know :mad:

anywho, I forgot how much of a laugh this can be.

one Profile Actually said "No under 25's & Definitely No Asians!!!"

Some real catch there.

Let's see if I can actually find a girl this time that doesn't want to put me though the whole jealousy trip again.
 
To be honest, I can't see anything wrong with having a preference. I only date white women as it's my preference. It doesn't mean you don't 'like' other races. Its got nothing to do with it.

Get rid of the pic with the massive sunglasses & rewrite your About me & drop the mention of weight lifting taking it to you like to stay in shape.
That's my tips but what do I know. :D

There's a difference between having a preference & stating a (borderline racist, it makes me think of the 'no blacks' signs in b&b's/pubs etc from earlier times) definitive preference on a site visible to anyone. With me, it's a red flag. I'm white, state clearly in your profile no blacks/asians/whatever & you're not the girl for me, to me at least it implies a certain mindset. Just don't reply to people you don't find attractive, don't slate a race publicly.

At a massive guess you just don't seem to say a lot about your self, my entire impression of you is "ask away" which doesn't really mean that much, if there is nothing much to ask about then why is a sane/decent woman going to ask anything in the first place? :p

(been watching Daria a lot again so its angsty rhetorical questions as answers evening)

Is the picture that bad? :p only reason I'm asking is because my profile views went up quite dramatically since changing it to that particular one!
