i'm pondering whether to give it a go or not. The thought of it is scary lol
although my exes were met online only one was from a dating site (love at lycos) but i thinking if I do give it a go I might try match.com because I think if people have to pay for it they might be a bit more serious. I could be completely wrong though

thats why I joined it as plenty of fish seemd like it was more for a quick one round the back of the bike shed, with some of the women that popped up!
but all the peoples that are suggested on match haven't been on in like a week and 3 weeks plus! so I think Im going to cancel and give the old fashioned way a try again
It's natural to be more nervous!
Regardless of whether I'm on top of the words or a nervous wreck I'm still usually a bit of recluse when I'm scared/nervous lol.Richdog said:Hah I sometimes get that depending on my mood.
If you use the nerves the right way then it could be advantagous. I mean if you told the girl I'll be honest with you I'm pretty nervous right now so sorry if I seem a bit on edge. That could work in your favour in a couple of ways. One you're telling her how you feel (some women love this). Two it could act as an ice breaker (as she may be feeling a bit nervous as well). This might lead into a conversation where you chat about nervousnous in people in general or funny experiances on first dates etc etc. Three it could always backfire .It may be natural but it certainly isn't advantageous!!
I was on match and got suckered into it for the same thoughts "Must be more serious if they are paying for it"
What a croc of **** that turned out to be.
Seriously, don't bother.
I'll agree Match is crap! Thought the same as nokinidea that if you're paying for it it must be good, but I barely spoke to anyone on it, and was a complete waste of money.
POF have spoken to a few, although most don't seem to contact me back(and I never get first contact made towards me either lol) But hey, it's free, so can't complain lol.
Three it could always backfire .
Well it depends on the girl saying the same thing to two different girls could result in one going absolutely crazy for you and the other one thinking you were a ******.I like your optimism there
Move .I live on a rock in the middle of the English Channel.
People I meet on-line meet 2 criteria:
1 - Taken
2 - Other side of the world

Afraid not just based on my observations that women or people in general seem to prefer different things. For example I heard one emo'ish girl say she was in love when a guy said he'd slit her wrists (or something similar) I'm not sure if he did but I know that he ****** her. I suspect if you said that to most girls the effect might not be quite so positive. I guess she was in love because she must've thought he understood her feelings.Sounds like an interesting story behind this
What do we think chaps & chapesses? worth a crack?
