If you feel like that why not invite her out for a drink/meal if she says no it wasn't meant to be. You've nothing to lose.

Yeah I think I'll give it a couple more days and then see if she fancies meeting up :)

I had been speaking to this other girl who seems quite nice, this time a few years older than me, but the chat was no where near as frequent or as in depth as the other girl.

What do you lot do when someone messages you who you really are not interested in? This rather large lady messaged me and she was rather unattractive (I am sure she is a lovely person, but no thanks). I just pretended that I was only on there for a laugh and didn't really want to meet anyone :o

Usually just dont reply, might sound harsh but it gets the message across (read with no reply). Plenty of people do it that way I think

Just be upfront, thanks for the message I'm flattered but your profile doesn't match what I'm interested in. Perhaps not referencing that you think she's too fat ;) :P

I am really surprised by the number of people on there though. The site has some major usability issues and could do with a massive overhaul but for a free site it has some pretty decent functionality and there are some nice girls on there :)

You like wearing sunglasses I see :p

Strangely enough, I don't wear them that often lol. Just that I seem to have quite a few pictures of me with them on. Don't wear them because I have normal glasses, and I can't find a nice pair of prescription sunglasses I like.

I currently manage/live above a pub in Hoxton! Tis a great boozer :D. Not going to be in there for life though.
If all goes to plan I should be back in the Army in the next couple of months, but for now it pays for things like
my beloved (new)motorbike. New because the other one got 'alf inched the other week :(. But ah well, got a newer, and a bit more sexy bike now heh.

something like

I currently run a pub in Hoxton!, its a pretty classy pub and a whole bunch of fun. However Im waiting to return to the army in a couple of months to continue doing <insert what you did previously>. In <whatever I've done> <I used to
go, see, do lots of things etc ???>. Ive recently just got a <motobike name model> which is my baby <somthing like that>

dont mention the other one being stolen the last thing a lass wants to read is a downer thing ( i know its not much but these things people tend to over think) try push it as a god dam punks ill fight them off sorta thing when they ask questions,
explain abit more about yourself go in depth sell yourself dont just list, give a small quirk which you can elaborate more when chatting, and try and get one sensible photo some are canny good tbh dude but either way

this is just a quick suggestion as im at work but you get the picture

Well I thought I'd update you all with my internet dating antics.

I signed up for match.com. I thought if people are prepared to pay this much to date, they'll be more serious than any of the PoF girls. Using Quidco, I signed up for 3 months, so the actual overall cost wasn't so bad. I used an about-to-expire credit card, so I wouldn't get the hassle of the recurring payment.

I winked at a few, got a few winks back and one certain lady messaged me.

She was keen on her messages and ended up giving me her mobile number quite early on as she didn't have t'internetz at home and wanted to continuing messaging me. I ended up calling her that evening and we clicked.

We have a great chemistry and she's very keen on me.

I think internet dating can have it's benefits, but you still need to remember that confidence, personality and making girls feel comfortable around you in real life is more important than a few dirty, flirty online messages.

Internet dating stats:-
Girls met - 6
HJ - 5
VS - 5
BJ - 4
AS - 4
