its about a fiver now! my plan is to get a bus to newton abbot and meet her there.
in future if im going to torquay, ill get the train! not cheaper but at least you get a seat and aren't surrounded by yobs!

Am I the only one here who finds well in my case at least, women on dating sites don't know how to keep a conversation flowing. It's like I'm talking to myself and I can't express how frustrating that is. I'd rather chat to a fish or even a frog than some hot girl who can't converse.

your there asking questions etc and trying to get to know them....then nothing in return, like talking to a wall....
Why do you think they can't get a man, on the odd occasion you find one or two that's only problem is spare time and not being a complete spack.

the one im currently speaking to, seems interested and seems to be a really nice girl, in the process of organizing a date for next weekend, her only down side is that she takes AGES to reply to texts and quite a few times forgets to reply! haha its kinda annoying when your trying to organize plans!

I've actually met a woman from the meet me feature! She turned out to be mental in the "closet mental at home because actually living seems pretty difficult way"...
Not sure if that justifies the feature or puts everyone off more

From my experiences and those of close female friends it tends to be because men are much more likely to make the approach, so even though there are far fewer men on dating sites, girls (expecially nice-looking/well photographed girls) tend to receive vastly more messages.
Back when I was internet dating I'd generally be in coversations with 1 or 2 girls at a time - some led to dates, some went nowhere, but it was usually a total of about 1-2 emails/texts a day unless it was an unusually active person. In contrast, the girls I know (even the... erm... less immediately captivating ones) frequently would get 15-20 messages a day, so it's really not the same case of "I'll just nip on, check my messages and reply", it's a proper hour and a half job to do that. Long waits between messages could well mean she likes you and wants to do a proper reply, whereas the ones she doesn't give a toss about will be getting one-liners.

I've been binned off by the girl I've been seeing. I was meant to be taking her out for something to eat tonight but she text at 1am saying she doesn't think we have enough to talk about. I was thinking the same thing to be honest, as the other times we've been out, I've been carrying the conversation. If I stopped talking or didn't ask her something directly she'd just sit there and not say anything. Texting her was the same, she never asked me anything so I had to keep the texts going. Didn't help that as she was in the police she seemed to work all sorts of weird hours meaning the few times she was available, I wasn't! Shame really as I thought we had quite a few things in common!

Sounds like she isn’t too fussed about your date, has other options on the go, or has some kind of personality trait where you have to do the chasing in order to make her feel "needed".

This happened to me the other week too! Though from a real life encounter, quite glad in a way as much as she had a stunning body she was rather strange.
