Internet Dating.....Who Has Done it?!

Er, you guys are looking to go on dates but you are too scared to pick up the phone and talk to a person to cancel a subscription?

Better to ring them then. I can promise there is an option to cancel as that is what I've done. I actually have a good mind resubscribing right now, just to see how I did it.

I doubt anyone is scared. Why sit holding a phone for 20min waiting to speak to someone, when a few clicks does the job just as well?
 
Yeah tbh I speak to people all day on the phone!
Its more the principle! I signed up online, I should be able to un-sign online aswell! :)
 
Was browsing a few of the profiles on plentyoffish for the London area... is anyone else a bit irked by all the profiles reading the same thing? i.e. every girl is down to earth, is career focussed, works hard and plays harder... i.e. basically cliched to hell.. I work hard and play hard but seriously...? :p

It's like everybody on dating sites leads amazing lifestyles :confused: I go to work for 10 hours a day, hit the gym and then go home and eat and watch the tv and browse a little, then on the weekend I might venture into central London to eat out or meet friends or go cinemas or something... I didn't think -most- peoples' lives are *that* different from this?

They're not. Most people write down the lives they WANT to lead, not what they're actually leading. Mostly BS on those sites. I mean, if they're so amazing they won't be on there in the first place? The trick is to find the real people and look past the wannbe's.

I found my ticket from a few weeks back in my coat pocket (I was showing some Dutch friends around the Kent countryside the other weekend and that was one place I visited).

Get him to drive past mine and you can have that - cheap date! Spend the savings on a picnic instead! :p
 
I have her own facebook and well she does seem to love herself a bit much, posting posy photo's. Not nude :p, almost smacks of wow look at me! and the usual blokes going you look good e.t.c.

But it seems to be a common thing with women on facebook?

Facebook should be banned :mad:
