Internet Dating.....Who Has Done it?!

3rd date with one last night.
1st date with another tomorrow night.
 
Getting on really well with this girl, It's been about a week now of conversation back and forth. There is certainly a connection going by the emails atleast, however I asked her out for a date. She basically said she couldn't do this week because of work and wednesday night she was out with the girls, which ofcause i was ok with. There was No negativity in her message, i'e putting me off ;). So i suggested the weekend and meeting at lakeside as it was halfway distance, we are talking 75miles here for a first date!.

She said she couldn't do the weekend either because nobody too look after the little ones and she wouldn't do lakeside because she finds it way too busy on a weekend. She would do the weekend after but now i'm like, two weeks to wait for a date?, long distance where do we meet?. I'd work with a relationship if it was long distance but a date i'd like to limit the cost somewhat and meet half way and why the long wait :(
 
I remember speaking to one women... Was weird we were hitting it off and I mean we were writing essays to one another solid for about 7 hours. Carried on for a week or so. Never heard back from her and she blocked me lol. Was strange.

Did you ever ask her out?, she probably got second thoughts and had a panic and thought best to block you out. That's happened to me before :o

Thanks for the advice mate, taken, Exam passed and now can't wait for Wednesday! (last exam after 3 years! :D)

Though I did the stupid thing and asked her near the end of the date rather than phoning her but she seems happy on meeting me again so fingers crossed.

One girl viewed my profile and "wants to meet me" so I messaged her asking if it was a mistake because she was far too pretty to want to do that... and she messaged back straight away saying that no it wasn't a mistake and that she was hoping to chat to me.

The thing is, I think she's probably too pretty and definitely too sophisticated for me... I'm 23 and still have uncontrollable laughter if anyone farts. Haha. :D

To those that have met up with people off dating websites - do you get anxious that they won't fancy you when you meet up in person?

I'm supposed to be revising for exams... I blame this thread!


On a seperate note... does the title of this thread not annoy anyone else? It doesn't make any sense!

I've never dated until I started Internet dating (previous spotty WoW addict), I found you have to be optimistic as you can be, if you find their qualities and appearance attractive and vice versa then What have you got to loose?

I think i've found a couple of normal ones, been chatting for over a week now to both of them, still getting the weirdos but never mind I just ignore them now. :)
 
Still talking to this girl and it's now gone into the saucy discussions, it's strange i've never had a connection with a girl like this before via online dating. Feels just right, but not going to get my hopes up and just take this as it comes ;)
 
And I missed out on the fondling of the backwards pink one? I feel cheated. By me. /wail.
 
Off out on my second date with a girl I met through a friend on facebook tonight, should be interesting as we have been texting each other non stop since we met initially on Saturday. Over a thousands texts sent in barely 2 and half days :)

Just a word of warning. Sometimes (well most times) things this intense can burn out as quickly as they start. Don't get carried away :)
