Got back from date about 20 minutes ago. Met him at 6.30pm lol. He is cuter in person and smelt soooo good hehe I is smitten as a kitten. Oh and he wants to meet again

Not had a good experience so far! I thought I'd try this out today so I sent a message to three girls this morning, all personalised/polite messages and not one girl has replied even though it says they've been online multiple times today.
What annoys me is not the fact that I wasn't successful with them it's the way that they can't even be bothered to reply back saying they're not interested, I mean I've put in the time and effort to send a message at least do the common courtesy and reply back with some kind of answer, I think it's so rude! Especially when we have a lot of similiar interests according to both of our profiles.
Annoying thing is on their profile they make themselves seem like really nice sweet girls who are looking for a "nice guy" and aren't bothered about "looks". I'm not really attractive or anything but I'd like to think I'm a nice guy and I have a lot to offer but obviously not haha.

Don't know. I sent 4-5 emails and got responses back from all of them, but then again, maybe I was just lucky. Went of 4 dates from those emails and dated one for a while. Suppose it's what you write. I was told that my responses was very 'take it or leave, and I don't give a **** either way sweetheart, your loss'. Not in so many words off course, but that was the gist of it. Don't be soppy or too light-hearted as nobody is like that for real. I know it's an age-old cliché, but just be yourself and don't try to please. If they didn't write back, their loss. Try seeing it that way.
Had an interesting evening. Received an email from someone a little too good to be true. Moved from email to MSN then to the phone and spent a total of 6 hours communicating in one way or another. Meeting her tomorrow afternoon!

I'm in no way dillusional about this and like I said I still have to meet her.
What I was getting at is the fact that everything so far has been too good to be true but if it continues "she's a keeper"

Well after planning a meet for next Wednesday the girl Ive been messaging has suddenly stopped replying out of the blue. Shes been online since I sent it but for some reason I cant see if she read it as all of the messages I sent to her aren't appearing in the "sent msg" page. Strange... :S

I think if someone blocks you all the existing messages are lost. Not 100% though.

Toughen up dude, it's the way it goes.
I probably messaged about 300 women during my time on POF. I'd say 100 replies, 80 of which fizzled out pretty quickly, 20 more significant to and fros, 3 actual dates: 1 was much fatter than stated, 1 was born a dude (!!!!!), and the last is now one of my best friends.
It wasn't until my gf of 2 years messaged me that it all actually worked out.
POF requires the skin of an elephant and the patience of a saint.
