to add to the list; girls that stuck there lips out, eyes open as wide, and the phone held as high as possible, pushing their chest together. yuck is all i can say!
when starting the first message what do people usually say? i've tried a variety of things like simple and to the point saying i like their profile want to get to know each other, or a bit more detailed asking a few questions like their name, if they ever been to my town, couple little jokes etc, but neither seem to get a good response.
last night i got a message saying xxx wants to meet me, so i logged in saw she was online so started chatting and starting asking about how come she in on a saturday etc, then about where she lives, what she wants to do and music taste etc as her profile was basic, but it was all one sided and taking ages for replies.
wasn't sure if it was light hearted enough as it was just me asking all the questions and getting useless responses. this is often the case though, i don't want to seem too robotty (which is hard not to when they don't give you much to go off) but also would like to get the know the person without coming across as a slob.
eventually she just disappeared went offline without saying anything
how are others approaching this?
the worst of it is god put the most amazing stunning girl i've seen in a long time in my life recently for just a few hours and i bottled it and didn't ask her out, and i really regret it now as that was a chance to meet someone really really beautiful and forget this stupid pof stuff.
