I was screaming at the TV because every one was so dumb. Even the alien turned dumb in the end.
Seriously what has happened to big budget TV. It all started with the steep drop in Game Of Thrones in later seasons. Writing just fell off a cliff.

Watched episode 5 last night and there were some properly stupid bits in it but strangely I still enjoyed it and will continue watching.
This is why it's all dumbed down.....
better than "raised by wolves" though?
Think I'd back him up on that point, of the three of us, you'd be the minority. Foundation is good.

I managed half an hour of this before turning it off. It's beyond dire.
Then I started on Foundation, made it 15 minutes into that and turned it off. That's crap too, even Jared Harris can't save that one. So far massively unimpressed with what Apple's streaming service has to offer in the Sci-Fi department.
So the wife manages to locate her cheating husband with 3 random Google searches, watches him get his freak on, then as he comes home at god-knows-what time, has a roast waiting for him.
The actors are wooden, the script is tripe. Even Sam Neill isn't immune to this dross, he sees a crop circle in the desert and decides this is his life's mission. What?
It's awful.

So is it worth watching or scratch it off my to watch list as I was going to watch this next after Oats Studio on Netflix.
In my opinion, no. Its one of those tv shows you when leave in the background while you doing something else (working, studying etc).

You forgot sleeping, and popping out to the shops.
Definitely background viewing material, giving this your full attention could induce you into a boredom coma.
In some ways I like that it's a slow burner. There is a level of suspense that it's building up, which is peaking my interest, but like others have said, it's slow.
It's not terrible I'd give it a 6/10 and will continue to watch. I mean the first series of The expanse was quite boring.

Being slow isn't the issue. It's all the crappy dialogue and boring characters we had to endure.
