Updated my iPad2 and everything's okay apart from safari which is just horrible now.

Is there any way to stop the menu bar at the top shrinking away whenever you scroll down a screen? It is very annoying and Safari page loading seems to be done in blocks now and if you scroll down too quickly you can see parts that have yet to load....seems much more clunky that on ios7
 
Anyone think that the image is sharper with iOS 8 on the iPad mini retina? Icons and text just look better to me.
 
Today's the day for Joe Public. Looking forward to it, especially the new messaging. Or not. I thought it was 17th today for some reason.

oh, it's out today? Came in here to check on the date, thought it was tomorrow... result!

Edit: Any decent articles that give an unbiased review? Just want to read up on what's new.

Will wait for the JB before i update my 5S

I like 5 colums. 5 Icons in dock and smaller icons (As well as hiding some of the non used apps / removing some unused features / speeding up animations etc)

But will still be updating the kids and Wifes 5C's later :D
 
Yep they wont do it before the americans are awake.

I'm just going to wait till tomorrow, aint nobody got time for failed updates all night lol
