All installed on my iPhone 5 and iPad. I've got SMS relay setup between my iPhone, iMac and iPad which works perfectly.

Handoff worked great when I installed OS X Yosemite at the weekend.

Updated my ipad3. It is stupidly slow to boot up, I thought it had crashed. Seems slower overall, coincidence with new iPads coming out?

iPhone 6. Bluetooth is enabled but the devices aren't paired with each other.

Just checked my Bluetooth settings on my iPhone 5 and my iMac is listed as connected (paired). Pair it and see if that sorts it, it's odd I never had to do anything like that to get it to work

Early days but Safari seems ok now, browsing these forums is no longer juddery and the entire pages are rendering rather than bits at a time when scrolling down.

Apple Pay not showing on 8.1

Ive just installed 8.1 and trying to get to the Apple Pay screen. I goto Passbook and it only shows Passbook, no option to setup Apple Pay.

Does this only work for US customers?

Regards

Chances are we won't get it until 2015

Funny, considering how generally the UK has historically been ahead of the game with regards to payment systems.

Chip and pin has been a standard here for years, and many places now accept NFC. It seems that that US Congress has only just recently signed an executive order to get the feds, banks and retailers to upgrade their terminals by the new year. Many of which will now be NFC enabled thanks to people wanting to be able to accept Apple pay.

Considering we already have to many NFC terminals and companies using it, hopefully it shouldn't take too long to roll out over here.

Would be nice to take just my phone out at night and leave the wallet at home. Would be a bit of a bummer though if I relied solely on APay though and the battery died :-/

Just updated my Mini 2 and it seems to have fixed a few of the issues. I'm still getting web pages not opening and the touch commands not working randomly.

The biggest issue now is battery life. I charged yesterday and did some browsing in the evening this morning it's at %20 remaining. Usually it's still at at least %80 ? It seems something is draining the battery since the update in standby mode....?

Not updated yet to 8.1 on iPad Air, but the only prob I've had is internet connection drop outs. If I press the wifi off/on its ok. I'll update to 8.1 now.

Anyone else had iCloud Photo Library turn itself off?

I set it up last night but just checked the settings again now, and it was back to disabled? Can view all my photos and videos on iCloud.com so I know it worked!

Seems fine on my IP5 - to be honest, the only issues I had with 8/8.01/8.02 were scrolling being a bit juddery at times, which was across the board rather than app-specific. Everything seems a lot smoother now ... had the same issue with 8 on my iPad mini, so will try upgrading that to 8.1 later.

Difficult to make any real judgement on battery life as my IP5 is now a month shy of two years old with its original battery and soon to be replaced with an IP6, when 3 get sufficient stocks to actually send me one (hrrrmmpph ) ... no hesitation updating the 6 to 8.1 if it doesn't come pre-installed.
