iOS6 Changing how you see the world

Looking at it from the outside, just seems like Apple have had enough of Google and are trying to do everything on their terms. Which is nice if you can bring out services which better or even compete with the competition.

They'll refine iOS Maps so it's more or less as good as Google's version, it just won't happen immediately. It'll take a while and user feedback will help drive its development.

If that's the case why have they released it now and not when its ready? Just makes them look like a joke

Is that good enough for people who rely on Maps for navigation?

Maps is one of the most used applications on my phone and going by what I'm reading everywhere Apple's own solution is rubbish.

So why ditch a perfectly working app for an inferior version?

I don't know why, it does seem odd.

I've only briefly tried it on my iPad and all of the local imagery was fine.

Not that it will affect me but personally maps on android is one of my favourite things

Search for where you are goimg
Do a bit of street view so you know exactly where it is as driving in the car
If it's a business the phone number is there as well
Google navigation from same place.. Which is better than my sat nav.. Decent traffic

Never have I had a software issue, wrong number, error in navigation destination

Big selling point of a smart phone for me

It may not have been updated but still seems to be years ahead of what Apple have decided to ram down their customers throats if today's outcry is anything to go by.
Just another case of apple knowing best..

No it wasn't, the satelite images might of been better, but it didn't have any deeent navigation. And most of the issues seem to be with satelite images, rather than the maps. The map errors will quickly be resolved.

Can I laugh at you twice, not only as you'll own a phone well below its retail rate. But becuase you have such stupid opinions.
How much do you think the sgs3 costs to make or any other smartphone. I'll help you out, it's well below the retail cost.

Well my nexus 7 cost around $160 dollars to make, cant find the S3 cost but go ahead and look if you want. Also at least with the S3 you are not shafted £70 for 16gb of storage, or £100 for 32gb extra storage.

Hey, at least they didn't just rip off something from Android, or take something Android had done for ages and call it a brand-new feature. They made their own version, totally original, and it sucks.

Just sayin'...

Pulling more funnies, do you actually know anything or just live in dream land.

Come on how much do you get ripped off for the Sgs3 16gb upgrade. This will be funny.

£431 v £464, I make that £33.

Also you would not buy the 32gb you would buy a SD card, so your argument is pretty irrelevant, but carry on.
