iPhone 5 Tariffs

The best value tarrif by a good way is Virgin Mobile. It does have it's issues; you need to buy a nano sim cutter and then sand the back of the sim down to nano size, and also manually set the APN settings. I'm weighing up whether this is worth it vs something else a bit more pricy.

haha good luck with that you nutter "sanding down"

LMAO

im with virgin as well and i pay £7 month for 1200mins and unlimited internet.

but they have told me outright they are not getting the nano sim unless they sell the iphone. They should have some further news in new year.

so i will be getting the three nano sim only deal and keep the virgin sim until they decide wheather they will be getting iphone

how much did you pay for the phone ?

a lot I imagine. I've been a 3 customer for 7 years frequently overpaying and have been haggling for a lighter contract for the best part of 6 weeks, with no dice whatsoever. Always managed to get a decent retention deal in previous years, all they now offer are the contracts on the website. I'll be going SIM free and PAYG SIM I think.

Quick Question if anyone can help me please

I have upgraded through o2, not the best deal by a long stretch however i cant be arsed switching and faffing around. Got a white 32gb coming but not for around 3 weeks.

Will they send me the correct sim i need or do i need to place an order for one of those too?

Thanks Chaps

Sam

Anyone?

I'll be joining Three anytime soon. Just asked for a Pac code from T-mobile. We wont be getting 4G for another few months mybe more. So wana try out Three.

These Nano Sims, do they come with the extra extension/add-on?

Because my Iphone wont be delivered till 2nd Oct :( So still need to use my Htc Desire for a while.

I got on the phone to o2 customer services (don't use the web help one) and asked for a nano sim, it's being posted today and will hopefully be here tomorrow or Thursday. Saves having to make a special trip out to get one.

The CS guy I got through too answered by saying, "Hello, how may I, uuurrruuuooooo, may I, how may I help you?", I laughed as I though he had just got his words mixed up. It turns out during the call he did it several times more and stuttered a lot as well. Me > :o

Grrrr no nano sim :mad:got an plastic bag style envelope from Vodafone Today (know it was from voda as checked with another member on a forum I frequent) but nothing inside the actual envelope so will have to go to a store as the Cs on the phone said no stock left.

Not that i'm going for an Iphone but I noticed on HDUK that Tesco's prices are up if anyone is interested:

With those 12 month contracts from Tesco you might aswell pay the extra and buy the phone out right.

And what’s with the changes from unlimited text to limited now??!?!? I know most of us won’t get through 5000 but still. It was nice to have just like it was with unlimited data years ago. You seem to be paying the more for less every 2 years with phone contracts.

Of course you are paying more, they can't keep it the same and continue to make the same profits when all costs in general are rising. With imessage/facebook etc i'm lucky to get through 200 texts per month anyway. God knows how you would get through 160+ texts per day to go over 5000 :D

I'm still in two mins. Someone help me out.

I've been with T-mobile for the last 2.5 years or maybe longer. Service been great. 3G/H Coverage has been great too. You do get the odd spots/location where it aint great, but thats minor.

With T-mobile getting 4G/LTE, Manchester should be getting it soon. I'm only 10mins away from Manchester, (Oldham) what is the odds Oldham having 4G Coverage?

Second thing is, I'm thinking of switching to Three network for a their all you can eat data plan 600.(Got my Pac Code to use aswell) Which suits my needs. I know the Three coverage is very good too.

Should i stay with t-mobile or switch to Three?
