3D Touch is fine, works well but little bit gimmicky.

Phone seems much warmer than before, might be imagining things though.

Front camera is much better but I don't take selfies!

Struggling to see that this is worth circa £200-250 to upgrade from the 6.

Using it to access the trackpad function with the keyboard = Hnnnnng though.

Got my 64Gb 6S in space grey at lunch, stroll down to the O2 store and 10 minutes later walked out.

Now restoring from my iCloud backup. Will have to sort out a case tomorrow. Wanted another Spigen case as the one for my 5S was great, but they all a look a little too full on now.

I just rang Apple and it's showing in stock but they can't reserve any or tell me how many are there. I fancy a trip to John Lewis anyway so I'll drive down after lunch and see what's about.

No luck. Spent a load in John Lewis though.

Geekbench 3 has already been done:

I know some have been posted online but I'd like to see results confirmed.

Just ran this on my 6S Plus 128GB that was restored from my 6 Plus backup.

The phone is significantly faster than the 6, much more responsive, even my tab reloading is fixed thanks to the extra RAM.

Touch ID is extremely fast, very noticeable difference.

Here is my Geekbench 3 scores.

Thanks Radeon123

Just ran 3DMark Ice Storm Unlimited and scored 27587.

Physics test is around 42fps.

Also ran the GFXBench Manhattan 1080p offscreen test. That scored 39.8fps, massive improvement over the 6 Plus score of 18fps.

Seems that the 7 is going to make this round of S models pretty lame. The extra heft of the phone seems a very much backward move, much like the iPad was.

Extra heft? You're joking, right? It's a few grams heavier, yet essentially the same size. Probably barely noticeable at all to most people and I'm sure anyone would get used to it within a few days.

Using it to access the trackpad function with the keyboard = Hnnnnng though.

Using keyboard as trackpad/highlighter is brilliant!
Setting mine up now, really looking forward to this feature :)

For those asking about cases, I retract my earlier statement about the silicone cases being crap. They've completely changed them this year after looking at them in store. Last year it was a floppy piece of rubbery silicon, really not very nice at all. This year it's actually a hard shell like on the leather cases, but with a silicon coating, which at least makes them a bit sturdier and less prone to letting dirt get underneath. I think I still prefer the leather for grip though.

Have you got one yet? The 6S feels "less modern", as whilst you can't really "see" the extra fraction of a mm, you CAN feel it. It is also circa 15% heavier, which is very noticeable.

It feels heavy and chunky COMPARED to the 6, which equals feeling less "impressive". No two ways about it. Simply disappointing that such a trade off is needed to incorporate 3D touch.

Anyone elses power button have WAY less travel than on the 6? As previously stated, this one feels almost wrong as it's nigh on flush with the case.
