iphone down to £169

Omg can't believe this, i bought the 8gb last wednesday on contract because i thought i will finally get an iphone, i got my bonus at work of 100 quid so took the 8 back to the store and changed it for a 16gb for no real reason.... Now the price of the 8 goes down and i didn't even really need the 16gb. :( such bad luck on my part... can you guys suggest anything ?

Is there not like a 7 day return policy or something? I would like to think there was. If so, just restore the iPhone and give it back. Get your money and buy the 8Gb again.

Probably work out the same. People who buy it for 99euros are forced to take the 18 month contract, so its much cheaper getting it here and jailbreaking.

Yea but do we know this for a fact?

If were getting it for 100 quid less, why shouldnt they get it for the discounted rate in a similar way?

Yeah, done mine already.

The price drop has obviously worked, they've sold a lot more phones today than yesterday!
 
I'll bet that when this new fangled 3G iPhone comes out, the 16GB one will come down to the price of the 8GB one and the 3G one will be the price of the 16GB one.

And at this point we'll all be oohing and aahing over the 3G version :P

(I dont need 3G really though :D)
 
You should have asked him for his staff discount on the purchase of the phone in the first place ;)
