Quidco is awesome, its basically free money, just takes a little research before buying anything online.

The combination of that and Hot Deal websites saves me a fair bit of cash, though I spend more as I can't resist a bargain, so they get the money out of me one way or another.

but anyone who sprung for one of the former iterations within the last month will receive an "Ultimate Price Promise" £100 refund voucher

so those who are crying because they've bought one recently, all is well

It all happens behind the scenes via cookies. I always delete all cookies/temporary data, go to quidco, log in, follow the link to the shop and then shop as normal.

Once you've made your purchase it takes a while (upto a day or two) for your quidco to track, then depending on the shop it can take upto a month or two for it to be validated, sent to quidco and then you can pay it into your bank account.

Hmmmm seems a bit of a gamble, what happens if you delete your cookies?

Just phoned the apple store. He said they can't confirm anything until tomorrow, but that they "usually have something in place" for people like me who only recently purchased the phone.

After seeing this, I am seriously considering getting one of the 8Gb iPhones tomorrow. As I don't use the internet much on my phone, I may check the footy scores when I'm out and about, would I really be affected by putting my current O2 contract SIM in and loosing out on the whole EDGE malarky? My only other concern, is that Apple may in the future bring out a firmware that makes Jailbreaking impossible, thus rendering the phone useless, would this just be case of not upgrading once this happens?

I was worried about that too, but I think it'll be a case of walk in and purchase take home and jailbreak... or register with o2 if you wanted to do that. :)
