I was going to do the same but Ebay don't let you do 1 or 3 day listings for iPhones, so a 5 day listing is the minimum.
What you chaps reckon to sticking my 8gb US one on ebay now 1 day listing and trying to make a few quid?
i've got about £350 in my quidco account now, building it up to a grand before i put in payment details and take the cash!
Is is sad that the first thing i saw in your sig was the Imperial emblem? She's a fox, link tbh .
trescodrucey is your £100 quidco for the iphone confirm or just tracking status only?
tracked only after a few days!
I'd also like this answered. I'm assuming that it will be the same as normal ie. you only buy the handset from O2/CPW then activate it yourself at home, or supposedly. Fingers crossed.
Somebody on MacRumors.com said:shouldn't think so or else there changing the whole way the iphone is sold!!
I dunno if i'm asking the same thing, but can I buy it from o2 etc but not have to sign up for a monthly contract? i.e unlock i once i get home?
What might interest many consumers put off by the phone's previous £269 price tag is that the way the iPhone is sold in the UK (bought first, then contract selected via iTunes) means anyone can now pick up the cheaper model during the promotion - without committing to a contract - and unlock it.
Ditto if its £160 and i keep my current contract and everything ill pick one up tomorrow too...
Though im an online o2 customer but again assuming its just the handset should be able to pick up instore?
I'll give them a ring and find out in morning, save myself a trip to get one if not.
Then your getting ripped off the contract gets you a pre paid amount of minutes for lessstill really too expensive imo i mean 45£ a month contract and £1xx on top... thats why i went on contract so i didnt have to buy the phone
The offer's only available in store as I understand it and as always you'll just be buying the handset, all the contract stuff comes later when you activate on itunes.
edit:
Also it's £169 not £160
