That's the same link someone posted earlier. I have no idea how to do practically any of it.

To run this utility:

1.
Become fakeblanked by using BootNeuter (set FakeBlank to ON before selecting Flash).
2.
Download the archive swifi.zip, unzip it, and transfer it to your iPhone. You can either bundle it into a custom ipsw via PwnageTool, or use something like iphuc. Make sure swifi has execute permission (chmod +x swifi).
3.
Log into your iPhone via VT100 terminal application as root
4.
Unload your CommCenter (otherwise you'll probably see “Error 0xffffffff” from swifi).

launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
*
killall -9 CommCenter
5.
Run the swifi tool. It should complete in less than 3 seconds.
6.
If you've manually changed your wifi MAC address via ibooter, or if you've had your wifi MAC address changed on you by a buggy unlocker, change it back to its original value.
7.
If swifi reports “actions taken”, reboot your iPhone to use the new tables. You may also need to do “Settings→General→Reset→Reset Network Settings”

How do I get BootNeuter on the phone without Wi-Fi access? Steps 2, 3, and 4, wtf?

Another problem, when the phone is in standby it won't ring when I get a call, just sits there doing nothing, and when I come out of standby it shows the missed call(s).
 
I got net on my iPhone working by disabling the firewall on my laptop (ad-hoc network cos im at uni..) but then that made the net on my laptop stop working..

edit: and now it doesnt work post-restart of my laptop

hi hi, got installer onto the iphone now, loads more apps. just trying to get smsd, but it says its only for firmware 1.1.1. how do i get it on mine?

I can't play anything from bbc iplayer on mine :( everytime I try it says: error playing movie.

I've tried clearing the cache and I'm definately connected to my home wifi.
 
i didnt get mine from cpwh, got it from o2, so maybe try checking there for stock?

also im having some trouble with smsd. iv installed it via installer, but when i try run it, nothing happens. the window comes up like its started but just as quickly closes and goes back to the home screen.....
 
Im having trouble trying to setup my pop mail account on the iphone.

I enter my details and then it says "verifying pop account information"
and stays there for ages... anyone experienced this?
