Ok thing I got pop mail working.
Thing is, if Im using pop mail on the move, I wont be able to use my ntlworld smtp. I.e. I have to change the SMTP server to the O2 one (on the move via EDGE).
Surely theres an easier way around this?

How did you get ntlworld email working? I must have inputted everything about 20 times only for it to just sit there trying to confirm settings (or whatever it is doing)
Get IMAP e-mail?
Press cancel rather than continue and the account might exist...
IMAP stays on the server, whereas you have to download the e-mails from POP to read them or such. IMAP is far, far better and has much easier ways of viewing it via webmail and such. Get yourself a GMail account![]()
I assume there's no way to get it to sync with hotmail? Despite it having no problem syncing to yahoo?
Also is there anyway to get it to sync with bookmarks from firefox rather than IE? Or will I have to import all my bookmarks into IE and then sync?
just called up my local CPW they have 6 left, and have put one back for me untill wednesday
Unless someone on here goes to devon and slips them a tenner to let them buy them all![]()

Yes - you need an email service with an SMTP server that supports authentication. ntlworld might, but I don't know. Most paid-for pop3/imap services come with one. You could pay for an smtp only service with someone if it doesn't, i suppose. So heres the problem...
If I setup my NTLWorld details with NTLWorld SMTP I can send emails via those settings.
However as soon as I jump onto the O2 EDGE/GPRS network, Im not able to send emails.
