iRacing

yeah, the impression i got was that these cars can go fast and win races, but put the same person in the same car, and they'll go fastest and hit good laps sooner in the Z4, the other 2 require consistently great laps to challenge, or a pit-stop extra in order to compete evenly, which isnt fun.

Started out with the Radical now, what a blast and fast compared to the SRF. Going to run both in S3

Also a quick video I posted on iRacing Foums

I swapped out my large desk for the Obutto for the exact reasons stated above. I wanted a racing rig and a desk all in one and the Obutto definately fits the bill. Once you get used to sitting low down in the room, it is very comfortable and erconomic to use with the triple screens at the right height and adjustable keyboard tray. I haven't got the acrylic shelves yet, I might get them at a later date.

Dimensions are in a post above and my video will give you a guessimate as the the actual footprint in a room.

As for the scam going on in UKI forum, I am still owed money from this ****** that was supposed to credit me over a week ago. I have actually met him and bought a TH8 from him and he seemed genuine, but gone all quiet now.

Nice video.

Just makes me want a sim rig and triple screens even more.

Raced in the GT3 on Sunday, not a fan of Silverstone to drive, but thought I'd do at least one race. Started 20th and finished 10th, clean racing with everyone around me. I think the standard if driving has improved in the GT3, I haven't had any issues all season. Whether that's me that's improved or a combination of me and everyone else, I don't know. It might be because I'm not in the bottom split anymore. Great fun either way, hard work in this hot weather too.

70 minutes at Zandvoort from tomorrow, already done some practice and looking forward to it.

Nice setup mate, I still have not ordered mine due to unexpected bills over the last 6 months

I am now in a position to get it ordered by the UK site is showing as out of stock

However I am going to get the Ozone just to save a few quick really as I have spent far to much on this over the past year!

Keep an eye out on the iRacing forums. I got mine 2nd hand from there last month. I wouldn't go for the Ozone personally, the R3V is much better.

Thanks Barry : Moving to a cockpit rather than a desk and chair is most definately worth it and helps with braking and laptimes.

Will do mate, what are the main differences between the two?

I haven't been playing this for ages since my new born has come along, and tomorrow my years sub goes (I renewed on the cheap last time round). iRacing is easier on my laptop CPU/GFX than Assetto, so I might have to renew at some stage. Is there any "come back to iRacing" emails being sent out?

Give it a few weeks and you may get an email from iRacing if you have email promotions ticked in your profile on iRacing.

They usually try to entice you back after a few weeks of lapse subscription.

Another ok week for me

Started 7th finished 5th in the skippy. I was happy with this as the SOF of the top 6 was very high.
Started 2nd finished 1st in the SFR. Had the no.1 car in pretty low SOF
Started 9th finshed 11th in the BMW Z4. I got battered in this race and punted off while was running in a train of cars fighting for 4th. I should have qualified a lot better than I did so can't complain about being in the thick of it.

It's going to be a tough one for me this week and I'm not too keen on the tracks. I've got this week off so plenty of time to practice.

I renewed and went to play a few weeks ago, was looking forward to blatting around in the MX5 and work on my times, only to find no series for the MX5 active anymore?!
Sucks :(

I dont have the Sonoma Raceway track and not sure if I should buy it for this week of the Skippy, is it a bad track for a beginner?

The MX5 Cup is still running mate, maybe you were looking in the wrong place?

I've driven Sonama in the MX5 and I'd say it was one if the more difficult tracks. I should imagine it would be tougher still in the Skippy.
