They did help her escape to Germany too though and I'm sure many others have been rescued.

It's unfortunate that her captor managed to slip through the net though this is why we need tougher vetting.
He probably claimed he was 11 and is now living in a shelter for vulnerable children, eh.

If it's that easy to slip through the net then that's pretty ****ed up.

I think you're referring to that incident a while back during the migrant crisis where he lied about his age and ended up raping someone in a school. That was just utterly shambolic.

It's literally that easy. 'Lose' your papers and tell them you're a child.

BBC must be having a slow news day or something, this story is old as hell, years old even and they finally picking it up.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...isis-rapist-syria-fighter-nusra-a7569811.html

I thought I link this because of the ISIS and Germany connection.

Honestly, Germany is screwed for a long time, since they allowed in so many "doctors, nurses, rocket scientists and engineers" for the last 7 years.

Such a shame, I really liked Germany.

Unfortunately is not Germany that faces the music at the end.
Already today Germany loaded 2000 unwanted refugees, and sent them to Greece....
Over a plan to send anyone they do not want to their point of entrance in the EU. (estimated 200,000)
Which unfortunately is Greece, because it cannot let the people become shark food at the eastern Aegean.

Greece which already has 910,000 illegals (official ministry numbers) from the Middle East, in addition to 500,000 "legals" all those who are registered and living in camps.
And that a county with just 10,000,000 population, of which 1 million are Albanians, Bulgarians, Russians, Ukrainians, Georgians and Serbs already.

Yet in UK of 67,000,000 the natives are taking up the pitchforks like @IronWarrior for 3 million EU citizens living and working legally in the country.

The politicians of the ruling party are on the German pockets. You will be surprised how much the current government there is hated, ruling like a dictatorship, even if coming from the Left. They call everyone a far right fascist, if objects against the government actions, even if people are just fed up not been able to live outside their houses in Lesvos and Samos because of the people in the refugee camps outnumbering the native Greeks.
Polls show for more than 2 years now, they wont get more than 10%, while the junior coalition partner wont even elect a single MP.
All these has given boost to the far right Nazis (literally Nazi sympathizers), which are already now the third biggest party and going to be the second biggest on the next election.

And the above aren't even the top of the iceberg.

should have paid their taxes then... or indeed left the EU, since it did neither it get saddled with poor decisions because it has no clout.

Regardless of the politics, that ~1 million refugee issue is a puddle in the veritable abyss of future climate migration, imagine the entirety of the Sahara countries, Arab peninsula and even Turkey fleeing from famine and death. Mhmmmmmm smell the fascism coming from a mile off.
