I was under the impression that Jews wanted to just live their life in Israel without having to worry if the bus they are going to school on gets blown up. Tbh I'm not against eradicating extremists of any creed.
And your post is equally deflecting of the actions of Israel over the years. No side has blood free hands in this horrendous situation.
Most ordinary Jews probably do just want to live that way. In the same way most Palestinians probably just want to about their day without their homes being demolished and then made homeless.

Israel has learnt from Russia about control of the media in a campaign, hence shock and awe on day 1 to generate sympathy and say its a `just and fair war` - Jus Ad Bellum . What will happen next will be more horrific news to justify `Jus In Bello` of far greater violance against ordinary people.
You’ve no idea of my knowledge of history nor is my opinion based on emotion. My opinion is based on the fact that neither of these two sides get on or have ever really gotten on.
This is a major part of the problem, but I fear it has escalated beyond a possible solution now, at least not for several generations.
