I didnt realise that these forums hold so many people who hate Jews!

I haven't seen anyone here supporting the actions of Hamas?

Israel is disproportionately supported by the west/USA but they have a very understandable tetchiness owing to what happened in WW2. And I don't blame them it was appalling. However it does seem to be easy to justify their behaviours towards the Arabs or anyone who doesn't want to support them unequivocally.

Again as soon as you say a negative words towards the Israelis it doesn't mean you're anti-Semitic. You can be anti Zionist without it meaning anti Jew. Lots of secular Jews and other Jewish sects are anti Zionist as well.

are you saying that they are letting food, water, medical supplies in?
After this weekend? I expect anything that gets in will have to go through Egypt.

Before this weekend? Israel provided water and electricity, and Hamas has proven that Israel didn't control what went into Gaza before this past weekend.

Cool, I will chat more with my nephew who graduated with a speciality in Jewish History, and is now a history teacher.

So, what part of Israel history did you study exactly, as you don't actually mention it at all, other that a reference to Germany? I took geography at school, so just these old rocks in here. (I'm also posting from work on my phone lol)

Point of note, I missed a 'not' in my post you quoted by mistake and have corrected it.

Formation of Israel and the politics of denial after WW2 - was run by Zena Maasri , Eugene Michail is the `memory` expert (but cant remember what i drink lol) and European Conflicts and Political Radicalisation. All under the Centre for Memory, Narratives and Histories. Along with reading against the archive with Deborah Madden ; that was actually brilliant and shocking. The sentiment in pre WW2 England and the increasing anger towards Jewish people was utterly shocking, although it was mostly males aged over 15, the females were far more sympathetic - all data from The Keep archive in Brighton. Zena comes from Lebanon, and has written extensively on Beirut in the 1960`s.

For me, Israel have bombed enough now. They really need to let humanitarian aid get to the hospitals etc in Gazza. Its heartbreaking seeing the innocent people suffer.

Yes, Israelis suffered massively on saturday but, they need to hold back now. Stop the continuos bombing.

Regroup. Let aid get through.
Or, perhaps Hamas could release the hostages?

So much for helping the people of Gaza!

Why Israel has released unblurred photos of the bodies of charred babies

By Alistair Bunkall, Middle East correspondent, in Israel
There has been a debate in Israeli media over recent days whether to show the more graphic images of the victims of Saturday's terror attack so that the world would be left in no doubt as to the atrocities committed by Hamas.
Today, after meeting with Antony Blinken, Benjamin Netanyahu posted three images on the official Twitter account of the Israeli prime minister.
Two of the photos show the charred bodies of babies, a third shows a baby with multiple bullet holes. Mr Blinken was visibly shocked in a later news conference, and I imagine anyone else who saw the photographs would feel the same.
Israel is determined that its response to this horror must be the elimination of Hamas.
It has the support of its allies – posting these photos publicly is a move to get wider international support.
The images were not blurred on social media - but Sky News has chosen to do so...

This whole beheading baby thing is rather confusing, i've seen people say there is no evidence of it happening, then others saying it does exist and Israel has posted footage on twitter to then having other people say that such footage doesn't actually exist.

No way im actually going to personally search for such a thing, what is the deal ? if video has been posted why is there still so much confusion over to whether it happened or not ?

I think all that hamas has proven is they are animals, however it’s a bit disingenuous to suggest Israel didn’t have a least some control over what was allowed in.

So much for helping the people of Gaza!

He's condemned a lot of them to death,

:(
''The morgue at Gaza's biggest hospital has overflowed, turning the carpark into a "graveyard".

Bodies are laid in rows on the ground, while inside, the dead are stacked three-high outside the walk-in cooler of Gaza City's Shifa hospital.

The intensive care unit is fairing no better, with wounded people lying in corridors.

And there are only four days of fuel left powering oxygen equipment keeping infants alive, said Naser Bolbol, head of the hospital's nursery department.

Then, "a disaster will occur within five minutes", she said...''

It certainly looks like people have a hatred to the Jewish people.
Criticism of Israel is not hated of Israel (and it's not anti-Zionism either).
Criticism of Israel is certainly not hatred of Jews.
Even hatred of Israel would not be hatred of Jews, necessarily.

It serves some well to conflate all of those things, and say they are one and the same. But it's a very cynical ploy to ensure that people must support (e: the actions of) Israel or face accusations of antisemitism.

I'm pointing out that they "proved they are evil" with a LOT of weapons.

Are you suggesting that Israel let Hamas stockpile all these armaments but blocked food? -All while supplying water and electricity?
