I have both an undergrad (2.1) and a postgrad (Merit) in History, specialising in Memory, the use of and manipulation of. One Essay is about the Armenian genocide and how modern day Turkey are systematically destroying ruins and denying medicaly treatment to anyone who both remembers and has an oral tradition of passing down history. The archives are peridoically scoured for any data and it is removed and destroyed. Happy to share the 20+ primary sources on this. Conversley i also wrote on why does German memorial of WW2 only focus on the National Holocust Memorial in Berlin and yet the myraid of other attrocities are ignored? Such as the destruction of the French village of Oradour-sur-Glane in 1944, where everyone was killed by the SS for simply being there.

Ok im going to take that at face value. Im pretty sure there are other ways to achieve what they want that doesn't involve killing civilians.

Well many many attempts have been made, Yasser Arafat and the PLO were around along time before the current lot. Didn’t Henry Kissinger or some such have a good go at brokering a deal.

There are many ways to achieve what could be but, as others have said, are we beyond that? A son joins the Army to take revenge on his father who died at a checkpoint? A daughter becomes a Martyr because her mother killed? We have that on all sides, in the middle and the edges - and much is driven by waving flags and believeing, withour reservation, a book of words, and those who interpret those words (yes Suuni and SHia did scism over that amoungst other things). And as Malcom X said , The media’s the most powerful entity on earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and to make the guilty innocent, and that’s power. Because they control the minds of the masses.

Cool, I will chat more with my nephew who graduated with a speciality in Jewish History, and is now a history teacher.

So, what part of Israel history did you study exactly, as you don't actually mention it at all, other that a reference to Germany? I took geography at school, so just these old rocks in here. (I'm also posting from work on my phone lol)

That is the crux - criticise the actions of the Nation State of Israel , and it allways is said a person is therefore anti semitic cause they must be a jew hater. Both sides in this are angry, 75 years of poking , prodding and outright death. In 2016 the UN security council all voted for Resolution 2334, telling Israel to stop flattening Paelstinian homes and withdraw, to give peace a chance. They didnt and carried on. Read the near 1000 resultions about the actions in Palestine, it makes for grim reading.
 
For me, Israel have bombed enough now. They really need to let humanitarian aid get to the hospitals etc in Gazza. Its heartbreaking seeing the innocent people suffer.

Yes, Israelis suffered massively on saturday but, they need to hold back now. Stop the continuos bombing.

Regroup. Let aid get through.
