One of the worlds (if not "the") best sources, a British institution with an impeccable international reputation being bashed. Stop the BBC bashing folks. Some people just can't appreciate the good in this country (even if it is a rarity).

Their coverage has been impeccable and they have many journos on the ground risking their own lives to get the stories out.

And Hamas' response:

A Hamas official urged citizens not to fall for what it called "fake propaganda". Its military wing later said that 13 among scores of people it captured from Israel had been killed in the latest Israeli air strikes. Source: Reuters

Well no, it's those, typically on the left, desperate to believe the BBC is lying to them at every opportunity. The usual persecution complex of certain groups.

You are right it's not for the BBC to decide - it's for the government to decide and the BBC to report.

It will fall on deaf ears, I've had many a debate about how impartial it is compared to pretty much every other news/media organisation.

I've had numerous people say that the Daily Mail and the likes of GBnews give a more balanced and realistic view...

Absolutely hilarious how wound up people are getting because they won't use a certain word to describe Hamas.

Make my mind up about what? In UK law Hamas are a terrorist group - do you dispute this?

When you get arrested for waving your Hamas flag are you going to just say you thought it was ok as you had decided they are not a terrorist group? Just lol... the BBC is going to get you in a lot of trouble.. :D

I wonder though.

The threat to kill hostages if Israel doesn’t stop bombing gives me the impression that Hamas doesn’t understand the situation.

It's almost as if Hamas believed their own "Israel never shows restraint" propaganda and are surprised that Isreal is capable of coming at them any harder then they have in the past.

Its not the impartiality its the tone deaf approach they seem to have for everything vaguely controversial.

They blunder from one PR **** up to another..

...If the UK government decides the facts of a matter, it's then for media (presumably you meant all the media, not just the BBC?) to report that as fact.

Nice, so Hamas are quite happy for their civilians to stay and get blown up then?

About right, then they can go and plee how they are victims in all this, again.

Their ******** is so transparent.
