For me it's less about supporting Israel more but more about being less sympathetic to Palestinians. That said, there's a convoluted mess of religion and wanting to be free from oppression. Killing civilians has always been part and parcel of "freedom fighters" unfortunately but this kind of action just works to Israel's advantage.

The thing about Iran is that everyone know they're behind the majority of this ****, but proving it is another thing. Then again, the Israelis tend not to bother about proof or evidence before bombing the **** out of things or murdering people.

Palestinians have really turned any goodwill I had for their plight away.
I don't know how anyone could be on Palestines side here.

Considering the horrendous conditions which Palestinians in Gaza are expected to quietly tolerate and accept, the current events were inevitable sooner or later.
Biden announced he's going to send an unspecified amount of weapons to Israel and also the US Navy is deploying ships to the area to deter anyone else from trying to attack Israel, less they be hammered by tomahawk missiles and fighter jets

As much as I feel for Palestine and Palestinians and have been more pro Palestine for decades, what Hamas are doing is atrocious and they're going to get many Palestinians killed and butchered as a result of their actions.
We should differentiate between Hamas and Palestinians as people conflate the 2 unhelpfully.
Let's be clear Hamas does not represent the innocent victims that end up dying, they're cannon fodder. Palestine is oppressed and has been treated like dirt for decades but the level of blood they are shedding against innocent people in Israel cannot be condoned in any shape or form.
Yes, the Israelis are also guilty over the decades of horrendous and insidious behaviours and truly awful things. However as much as I sympathise with the anger and frustration of the Palestinians, Hamas are signing their death warrants with contempt.

Seeing the Hamas terrorists walking into people’s houses in Israel, executing families, tearing children away from their mothers, will generally blow away any ounce of sympathy for the situation in Gaza.
I think it will probably be the end for Gaza, I don’t know what will happen - but I think with the Israel deathtoll currently approaching 1000, they’re not going to stop until the job is done.

Unfortunately I fear you're right. I mean Israel is not innocent of rape and murder of innocents either.
However what Hamas is doing now is on another level and is just going to escalate things to boiling point. There is going to be a lot of bloodshed. For what? Absolutely nothing. It's tragic.
