I get there is a sliding scale between indiscriminate and ineffective, but what you described is closer to the indiscriminate end of the scale IMHO.
 
ineffective - evidently Israeli's don't have eyes permanently in the sky (drone/awax type) to quickly triangulate&target those rocket launch battery's, maybe the USA will help out,
maybe you need good weather & daylight, infra-red

Not quite the same, the US hadn't been illegally occupying parts Japan for years.

I still can't understand why people are trying to see this in isolation. What's been happening to Palestine over the years has become prime ground for fuelling groups willing to commit abhorrent acts. That's no excuse, it's just a predictable outcome.

Then you have all the external factions at play. Be it Iran and the Hamas side or people like Abramavich donating millions to far right Israeli groups wanting to displace more Palestinians and build on their land.

It is an entire messy clusterfrak with plenty of people who really don't give a damn who dies in pursuit of their own particular desires

I'm sick of 'humanity'.

Nice straw man, but par for the course from you. Punishment can mean many things and in fact in a previous post I said I hope Israel wipes Hamas out. Yet all you see in your blind biased posts is what you want to see. You twist my words and narrative to sanction and approve the indiscriminate bombing of civilians.

The absolute fervour in the air. Those baying for violence are drunk on bloodlust reveling & hypothesising on what will happen to millions of innocent civilians. Truly shocking this level of pre programming exists in UK citizens
