It looks like the 'real' /affordable RDNA3 + next gen NV desktop launch won't launch until September. Thoughts?

Im too damn fussy for my own good, the RX 6700 XT would be the logical choice, given the price/performance at 1440p.

I had a RTX 3070 a while ago, then RTX 3080 which broke, so I've come full circle lol.

Maybe I should just buy one now and upgrade later when better (RDNA3) cards become available?

I guess that could be a good move, if I can find a cheap one.

Navi32 would be better ofc, really any of these cards coming out would push down last gen prices though...

A used RTX 3070 might be a better buy, with a warranty.

They all do, even if not on Nvidia's compatibility list, which mine isn't, nor was my previous Free-Sync screen, they both work perfectly.

Not all of them, but mostly yeah. My 49inch superultrawide samsung odyssey was flickering with gsync on :confused:

More to a purchase than just sheer fps performance, you can't put a price on a good software/feature experience.

It's almost as much as a new RTX 4070 TI.

I'm guessing that it's because of it's relatively late launch, high new price and total lack of (new) availability?

It is.... its a good card in its own right for its money but having a proper amount of VRam pushes it over the edge of just being a good sub £400 card to being IMO the only option up to £500.

Best you can probably hope for within a few months is 6950xt performance for £500 - £550.

Once we know the 7600xt price we should get a good idea of what will be slotting in between it and the 7900xt.

kind of - The RX 6800 with 16GB is <£500 new.

Probably. Rumours seem to suggest 6750xt performance for £300-£350 from the 7600xt.

That means the 7800xt will be around 6950/6950xt performance for around £550.

The RX 6600XT had an MSRP of $379. I don't think AMD are going to drop that, which means the 6700XT is probably as cheap as its going to get.
