It's getting real hard!

The paint job on the case looks excellent, it adds a nice bit of flare to the system without it becoming tacky. Also just wondering how come you wen't for the Primochill fittings with line grips rather than the knurled fittings. Hopefully it should make them easier to tighten :)

I went for these because I liked the look of them once I decided what tubing I wanted and these came in a pack of 10. No real reason. They are really nice to work with and seal really well too.

Hi again :) The case looks really nice, im stuck myself what to do for christmas, PC upgrades or watercooling...
I got banned for 2 days because i didnt star the entire swear word lol, oh well im back and wont make that mistake again!

Hey! It depends if you are happy with the spec of your PC. If not then upgrade if you are then make it pretty :)

Haha, yeah it's easily done.

---

Took the rad to work today, found some matte black paint in my draw of spray paint, apparently I've sprayed a bike matte black before!

I've ordered some more bits from OCUK. Going to put some new thermal paste on my blocks and give them a clean as I've never actually done so.

I'm unsure what fans to go for, these SP120's are awful, they are really noisy and dont really push much air. I can't bring myself to spend £15 on a fan though and I'd need like 7 of them :(

I need to get this finished, my room is a mess with PC parts everywhere and it's annoying me now.

Easier said than done!
Think my dad has already requested his cousin sends over either a 6700k or 5820k from America, so i think ill probably be upgrading :p
His cousin is on the board of directors at Intel and its stupid cheap, as i just recently found out he works there!
Maybe after christmas, if i get enough money, ill sell my current CPU, motherboard and RAM and case and put it all towards the watercooling gear!

Your build is looking sick though, cant wait to see some more of it, just know your inspiring me also!

I'll have a stupidly cheap 5820k in that case ;)

£350!? And the rest!? You spend that in pump, res and rads!

Haha, thanks man. Somehow that reminded me to go and buy some lighting, this'll be my 4th order on the go from this weekend!

Anyway, if you want a chat, send us a trust, wanna try and keep this build only, no offence :D

Thats what im thinking haha.
Shall do 1 minute :)

I hate waiting on parts :( Got fittings, fluid, fans and a couple of other bits coming can't start more bending until they come.

Some bits should be coming today though, so that's not tooo bad..

I did spray my rad though, from silver to a matt black. Wasn't able to get any pictures during as I was at work and my manager was looking at me like i was some sort of freak.

Looks quite good I think.

I don't know what lighting strips to go for, anyone got any recommendations on what to go for?

Looking very nice as usual. From the photo you seem to have got a perfect finish on painting the radiators. What steps do you do to paint them as it's not my fortay of things but I'm quite intrigued now:)

As for lighting the NZXT strips are supposed to be pretty good but I wouldn't advise the Phanteks ones as they use connectors for their cases (And the white light has a blue tint to it) :D

Is money allows an NZXT Hue+ watched a review of it the other day and it looks amazing. Or even just a normal hue if you're okay with the bay controller.

I have some NZXT LEDs and they aren't great tbh.

Well what can I say, I'm great in a spray booth ;)

It was done on a bit the first layer was 8k acid etch primer and then some halfords Matt black I found. A couple of coats and everything was looking good. I wish I could get the bit of my car I had to spray as good :D

Watched a video or two on the Hue+ and whilst it does look good I don't think I cant justify the cost to myself, which is usually pretty easy!

I'm going to see why my lighting solution stopped working tomorrow after work and hopefully I can fix it, it looked pretty good.

But but but pretty colours... Would compliment your rig massively!

Quick tip for use of the deburrer:

When you're doing the measurement, you can actually measure 1-2mm extra for safe margain, and then after you've made your bend, use the deburrer to trim the length at each end until everything is leveled.

Also, you might want to try out what is the optimum pressure you need to push the tube into the deburrer as the tube will melt if you apply too much pressure and does not leave a nice edge under too low pressure.

But the tube cutter should give you a nice enough edge :)

Good luck :)

Yeah it is pretty handy for trimming things down and getting it just right.

It didn't take too long to get the hang of it :p

My lighting was good as I could select whatever colour I wanted and dull or brighten it up which was good. Just hope I can get it working.

The final parts have arrived!!!

I can finally finish her off with the exception of cables.

It took me weeks of checking to find these in stock but at last!

Bitspower is pretty..

Couple more normal fittings, no more black and I wasn't prepared to wait a week or whatever so providing I can find some black paint tonight, it's going to be sprayed.

And some thermal paste, never purchased any before!

Nice to see an update. :) When you planning on finishing it all?

Bitspower fittings look so nice!

I've been using gelid paste for my last few builds/repastes etc, thinking of grabbing a tube of that thermal grizzly when i next need to replenish. What paste did you have on before?

Tonight! It's in bits as we speak! Some ek stuff that came with the CPU block and the GPU's had blocks on them so not a clue! Blocks are getting stripped in a minute and getting replaced.

Next reply will be a picture update :D
