Finally we have snow here.. all of about 1/2" and patchy.

Forecast for -5 over Thursday and Friday nights. Expecting it's going to be very snowy. A mate bought a little 4x4 toyota for travelling as his porsche gets a bit lively with any slush on the ground.

There were a few flakes overnight in reading

Although I've decided to not risk riding my bike this morning in case it snows more or if ice forms. Also I'm not sure how well slick tyres perform in the snow, and I don't fancy finding out the hard way

Haha, done my time of winter commuting on the Ducati, which route do you take around/through Reading?

Be careful mate, very careful. It's not the snow, it's the slush under that gets you.

Well that was fun, getting down a 20% incline covered in snow! Only a 200 foot drop if you don't stop at the corner too.

now I'm on the main road stuck in traffic for no apparent reason, brilliant.
