Thought I'd share some pictures of Reading this lunchtime:
It was tricky driving down the hill this morning (6 am) as it was all snow this morning:
Had to drive up here and get around some great parking to get to my road. All the abandoned cars are normally parked in my car park so I was impressed I got further up the hill then most of them :
Couldn't get the car up the final hill into the car park - mine is the Astra at the bottom of the road. Its neatly parked up out of the way. Wish I could say that was my intention when I went around the corner :
The car park:
And finally a snow man to guard the cars:
My 50 minute commute from Basingstoke took 4 hours but it was fun driving.
Phew, managed to drive home to Oxford from Bristol all safe and sound. I wouldn't like to have driven in the dark mind, it was very foggy this morning....
My road rage levels are through the roof, you can clearly see there is low risk now on the roads where the gritters have finally done their jobs but noooo you insist on driving 15mph.
-3C here in Montrose. No more snow but its forecast for later.
I have seen an Aberdeenshire gritter/plough twice today and it ventured into Angus only to turn round at our road end and go back again!
Our road is still white and no sign of the Tayside Gritter/plough
Stuck in the house now, there is practically zero cars driving past. My GF is now home after the entire shopping centre she works was closed, zero buses or taxis are in service.
I had to drop some work off and wanted to get into the gym.
Just earlier, the thermometer thingy in my car said 40 degrees C . How I would love to have some snow, but I gotta wait until June and then hike up a mountain to get some
