that looks quite cool. i'm suprised anyones having trouble getting to work though, I mean come on its clearly just a cm of snow.

:p

Isn't everywhere? Where the cloud is just above london there is about 3cm so you're pretty accurate. :p

No snow today here in South Wales but we still have a good 6-7" on untouched ground compared to the 9-10" yesterday, where the snow usually goes hard and crispy its staying really soft however there is loads of ice about!

2nd day working from home as my car wouldnt start this morning and didnt have any leads, iv got some leads now tho so will be in the office tomorrow most probably, unless the enevitable happens!!

I've just discovered how awesome golf shoes are for walking in the snow.

I have some 'eavy dooty Rockport walking boots which slip all over the place, but my Nike golf shoes barely slip at all. The hard plastic studs give much traction.

Yet more snow outside, been very very heavy for over an hour now, had tonnes today so far; forecast is grim.

The weather forcast really is terrible. Apparently it was going to snow here from 3 oclock in the afternoon, and contine for hours. They obviously didnt even bother to look out the window as until an hour ago, the skies were clear! Even now, nothing. Just a bit nippy outside!

Right, why the heck do they keep saying about more heavy snow on Sunday??? Rubbish! I've been looking on NetWeather (far better than the Met Office!!!!!) and its only very light stuff!?

Have a look at the forums. The local updates only go by one model (GFS) which is just one model out of many, so the say about all the heavy snow is from studying a combination of that one and all the others (GEFS NOGAPS METO ECM.....) and seeing what most agree on. Whilst the GFS is the main model most go on, it'd be unwise just to go by that one as there are so so many variables..

Have a look on the forums for the discussion about it, one of the weather forecasters for bbc points west (my local news) also posts there too :)

NetWeather
I think something is wrong here, it shows in Stoke it's only going to be 0c min tonight tonight and currentley 1c.

I've got two thermometers and both are showing -5c or more now.

So am I, especially here. The local evening news showed nearly empty tubes running in the rush hour, they all stayed at home. You would have thought that London was covered by a foot of snow.

It's because Southerners are a bunch of jessies who cry as soon as 3 ********** fall.
