It's too hot :(

So today they decided to put fans on in the office! Why not yesterday when it mattered?!

I'll laugh if the forecast is correct and in an hour the temp drops and we get the bad weather.

Was lovely yesterday 29c in the shade on the thermonitor I have nailed to the shed wall that never gets sun. (Brick wall)

BBQ beer and a epic sun tan :) just woke up its 27c already. Thunder storms forecast in two hours lasting till 10pm tho ! And weather warnings.

Also I slept with the window open last night first time in my life, though I did prepare and got a mesh bug screen over it so nothing can get in.

Is our weather actually that different than that to other countries?

Not really.

This is called "summer" it is supposed to be warm!

What we do lack however is the infrastructure to deal with warmer temperatures. The tube, the trains, buildings a lot of which have not been designed to deal with warm summer months.

Hah :D I meant in the terms that people say that our weather is unpredictable and how we can have all four seasons happen in a day.

Looking good for my weekly trip to Newquay today ,awesome swell and weather as well ,beach tent ,kindle, cream cakes ahh I love living in Cornwall

Just come back from my 7 year olds Sports Day. They cut it down from 2.5hours to 1hour.

Blazing hot here in Surrey now. A lot of the mums were moaning that an hour wasn't long enough. When I mentioned that the Army doesn't let soldiers train above 26C they stopped moaning.

For the rest of the week I am working from home where I have no aircon or fans.

Car is parked at the office waiting for a windscreen replacement so I can't even go out and buy something to keep me cool.

Sitting in my skiddies typing on forums ftw.
